Mudheart looks up from picking to juniper berries. "Hey your right. If you want you can go find out who they are while I keep picking the juniper berries." He said. "I'll take the berries back to your den when im done picking them." He added.

Whitstar yowled on the High___ (?) signaling a Clan meeting.

[OCC] Dawnkit and Nightkit already wandered into camp. Weirdly, they said they were about the same age as Flamekit.
Sorry guys, I'll just have to roleplay your cats unless you get here in 2 seconds.

"We gather here to make 2 kits apprentices!" Whitestar yowled over the crowd. Nightkit, Flamekit, and Dawnkit were confused. Only two?
"Dawnkit, please step forward."
Dawnkit stepped forward excited.
"You have wandered into our camp, but we have taken you and your sister Nightkit in. I now give you your apprentice name, Dawnpaw. Your mentor will be Mayflower. Mayflower, you are a loyal and brave cat, and I trust you to pass all of your warrior knowledge to Dawnpaw."
Dawnpaw touched noses with Mayflower.
"Nightkit, please step forward."
Nightkit steppd forward.
"You wandered into camp along with your sister. You are a very entergetic cat. I now give you your apprentice name, Nightpaw. Bear the name of our Clan well, Nightpaw. I will be your mentor."
Silence passed over the Clan. Leaders didn't normally apprentice kits to themselves unless there were no spots left.
"Nightpaw, I promise to pass all of my warrior knowledge down to you. I trust you will serve the Clan well."
The two cats touced noses.
"And now, I will acknowledge Flamekit. Flamekit would normall be an apprentice, but he is still healing from a broken leg and tail. I'm sorry Flamekit- as soon as you are healed, the ceremony will take place. Thank you."
Whitestar jumped down.

Whitestar padded over to Nightpaw. "Get your sister and brother and meet me in my den," he said flatly. Nightpaw nodded and hurried off. He came back with neither at his side.
"They were both sleeping," she said.
"Fine," Whitestar said. "Come with me." He led her into his den. Whitestar sighed.
"Nightpaw, you, your sister, and Flamekit..." He shook his head.
"We're..."
"Look, Snakescar and I think you and the others are... special. You're all going to do something important for the Clan."
"How do you know?"
Whitestar paused, debating whether he should tell.
"You're part of a prophocy. All three. Don't get too worked up; we have no idea what it means. But it mentions 'Night,' 'Dawn,' and 'Flame.'"
"What exactly IS the prophocy?"
"I can't tell you. Just... Train hard. You're very important to the Clan, so... Don't do anything mouse-brained, okay?"
Nightpaw nodded.
"Don't tell anyone about this conversation, okay? If you do..." Whitestar shook his head. Nightpaw took the hint. "Now, I'll go teach you some battle skills, and take you on a border patrol, okay?"

Thump!
Whitestar landed on top of Nightpaw and pinned him down. "What did you do wrong?"
"I wasn't paying attention and didn't see you lunge," Nightpaw sighed.
"You can never not pay attention during battle. Try again."
Whitestar and Nightpaw circled. Nightpaw fake-lunged and Whitestar dodged. Nightpaw predicted that and crashed into him. The impact sent Whitestar flying backwards, but he recovered quickly and dodged Nightpaw's next lunge. While Nightpaw was getting up from the lunge, Whitestar slammed into her and pinned her down again.
"Get up," he said, getting off her. "You did a lot better than last time. You're learning quicker than any apprentice I've had. But, your recovery is slow. When recovering is when you're going to be attacked. It's getting late now; we'll go back to camp. But from now on, in camp or not, when I say down you will lay down, and when I say up, recover as fast as possible."
Nightpaw didn't like the idea, but she obeyed and ran back to camp with Whitestar, being stopped a few times when Whitestar said "down."

Flamekit is moping around the medicine den, upset at not being an apprentice. (Snakescar) "Flamekit! Stop acting like you went hunting for a rabbit and you came back with a mouse!" (Flamekit) "It's hard not to when my brother and sister are already apprentices."

(Snakescar) *sigh* "Flamekit, you have to accept that sometimes you can't be the first in everything." Snakescar goes back to tearing the leaves off their stems. Flamekit looks a little better.
