Rowanlog beckoned with his tail by kinking it over his back for the young apprentice to follow him. He padded out of the camp, being tagged closely by Lightningpaw. As they padded to the clearing cold rain soaked their pelts, dripping from their fur. "We're so wet, hopefully we'll still be able to practice without slipping."

Lightningpaw attemped to shake the water off. "I hope the rain will stop soon." He was starting to hate the sound of rain constantly pouring.

Rowanlog hesitated for a moment before answering. " I think a good place to start training is battle moves," He flicked his tail toward the apprentices ravaged ear. "You seem to have a decent amount of experience in that already." I think you know the territory already, considering you were out collecting herbs with Emeraldsky the other day.

Larkpaw nodded, prodding the ground in anticipation. i don't want to have to wait 'till tomorrow to start training! I want to start now! "I think I have something in mind for tomorrow!" Exclaimed Larkpaw, grinning.

Faithstar

Faithstar nodded briskly as the mentors and apprentice touched noses to eachother. She leaped down from Towering-Hill and walked out the camp and into the rain. She flattened her ears and narrowed her eyes. She needed to speak with Emeraldsky about something. Finally, Faithstar spotted the she-cat. "Emeraldsky, I must speak with you about something."

"Y-yes? What is it?" Swanfoot asked, surprised. The white molly smiled at the excitement bubbling in the she-cat. "We could go out now and talk about it." she meowed.

Lightningpaw nodded, attemping to shake the rain off. "Okay, I hope so." He was starting to hate the sound of the dreading pounding of the rain. At least more herbs would grow.

Robinfall

The pouring rain drowned out the regular sounds of camp.
Robinfall stood next to the nursery listening for any signs of her needing help.
He looked around for Rosepaw.

Nightpaw
Nightpaw had finally sat down to listen to Faithstar. When she announced her mentor, Moontail, she smiled. She jumped up to touch noses with the she-cat, her different colored eyes bright. "Oh Starlcan! Hi Moontail! Are you excited? Because im excited! When do you think we can start training? Will Antpaw be able to train with us? Oh, Antpaw got Mallowstem as a mentor, did you hear that? I cant believe it! But Mallowstem can be good!" Her fur was fluffed as she talked on, but took a deep breath and looked up at Moontail.

Mallowstem
When Faithstar called his name, he flicked his ear in surprise. Me as a mentor? Why did she think that was a good idea? I cant really question the leader though... He watched as Antpaw ran up and touched noses with him, but saw him slow down. He couldn't help feel a flicker of sadness and anger. Even my new apprentice looks scared of me... He stood, hearing a Juniperpelt congratulate him. He looked down at Antpaw, seeing his chest puffed with pride. Mallowstem touched Antpaws head with his nose, hoping he didn't look strange. "Just work with me kit." He said, his tone lighter than usual.

Juniperpelt
He smiled, seeing his sister get so excited. He didn't feel sad or offended he didn't get an apprentice, he knew he was still too young. He shook out his fur and looked at Mallowstem. He looked a bit confused. "Congratulations Mallowstem!"

Echochirp
She had slipped into camp just in time to hear the mentors of the apprentices being called. She nodded her head, not being able to speak around prey and herbs. She set down the prey at the fresh-kill pile, two voles and a pigeon. She tried to carry her other prey, two more pigeons, but her mouth also carried horsetail and dock. She trotted over to the medicine cats den and put them in there spots. She trotted out and looked around for Emeraldsky, hoping to tell her of her finds.

Larkpaw nodded, smiling happily. "Sure!" She squeaked, flicking her ears in excitement. "I really want to learn how to attack from the trees." Her soft yellow gaze looked wistful as she thought about how great it would be to be able to fly from trees, and defeat her opponents. She turned back to her mentor, sparking with enthusiasm. "Do you think we could do that?" She meowed, curling her fluffy light grey tail around her paws.

Rowanlog, sighed as the rain sleeked down his pelt, chilling him to the bone. "Straight from a cold leaf-bare to a damp new-leaf," He murmured under his breath, with gritted teeth. The warrior and his apprentice began to approach the clearing, a short walk away. "We're almost there," He mewed to his apprentice. I wonder what Lightningpaw'll look like when he's fighting?

Antpaw looked up at Mallowstem. He smiled and dipped his head in respect and agreement. "What will we do first?" he asked lightly. Antpaw didn't want to rush him. The apprentice sat and curled his tail around his paws. He then lifted his head to look at Mallowstem with orange eyes.

Swanfoot's face brightened. She nodded, "Of corse! Let's go." Swanfoot flicked her tail at the entrance and began to pad that way. She checked behind hersef to see if Larkpaw was following. The warrior continued on and emerged into the rainy forest. She walked for a while before examining a medium sized tree. Swanfoot looked around and spotted a branch. She pulled the branch to a spot under a limb of the tree.
