Pallon looked at her and smiled slightly. "sure, but they have likely moved him."

Rin watched as Aii'in left then faced Pallon again, "Where do you think they would've taken him? An infirmary perhaps, or maybe to other healers"? She glanced around and eventually rested her eyes back on his.

"perhaps both? I suppose the infirmary would be the best chance right now." Pallon replied. There was a hint of sorrow in his voice.

Rin brushed a stray hair from his face and rested her hand on his cheek as if silently reassuring him before taking his hand and holding it firmly as she lead them to the infirmary.

Pallon closed his eyes with a sigh and leaned into her touch. He followed Rin as she lead with a slight look of dispair in his eyes, which he tried to hide.

Rin stopped along the way to ask a servant directions. They had reached the infirmary in no time and a rock in the pit of her stomach began to form. She glanced at Pallon one last time before pushing the doors open and silently praying reality was better than her raging fears.

Pallon exchanged rins glance, his eyes almost devoid of emotion and stiff and coiled.

Wolf sat crosslegged on one of the beds. He grinned at Rin and Pallon before going back to nibbling at the tray of food in front of him.

Nick sat in a chair next to wolf.

Rin exhaled the breathe she didn't realize she had been holding and stepped into the room with an uneasy smirk. "So how is our patient feeling"? She asked, coming to stand beside Nick.

Kalten watched the two from his hovel beneath one of the cots. He reached up and felt around for a morsel of Wolf's food.

Wolf handed kalten a piece of food when he saw his hand. He smiled at Rin. "I'll be fine."

Pallon relaxed considerably. He smiled slightly, "and are you supposed to be sitting up?"

"no..." Nick mumbled and smirked slightly as wolf shot him a glare.

Kalten's hand quickly vanished back over the bedside with the piece of nurishment .

Rin smiled and shook her head, coming to sit bedside, "And do you think it's a good idea to ignore your orders"? She cocked a brow before abruptly swinging her head down and looking at Kalten, making the boy jump slightly as he chewed his food.
