Athena growled slightly when the dragon picked her up. She gritted her teeth when the dragon dragged her, causing pain to her broken wing. She lay before Kestrel, defenseless and afraid. "What do you want with me" she mumbled as best as she could through the vines around her snout.

Kestrel waited for Darkness to bring out the prisoner. He smiled wickedly at her. "I want you to tell me where the Safe Haven is!" He roared angrily. "I think you might know where it is" he sneered at her. His nostrils breathed smoke to show he was outraged.

He watched as she left and then he came out of his den. He held his head up proudly. His large antlers seemed to blend in with the branches behind him. He moved then and the sun shone upon them with the mountains behind them. His white fur seeme to have an aura about it as the sun shone upon him.

"You will tell me!" He roared at the dragon. "You must know where it is!" He began pacing again, to angry to speak. "Darkness come here. We may need to feed this one to the tribe as well" he whispered into her ear.
