Ranrei tilted her head slightly. "Maybe if you sleep on the way there it won't have any affect?" She suggested. "If not I can try and make sure you don't get too sick and try to comfort you."

America didn't respond to what Emily said at first, just nodding. He wanted to lighten the mood, but he knew that it wasn't going to be easy. "Jeez man, of course I feel bad.... but we're gonna kick some dragon's butt and save them!" He responded. America looked over his shoulder in the direction of the voice, not really caring about who it was since it was the least of his troubles. "Just come in or whatever! " He yelled behind his back at the door.

Nobody talked to him. People walked past him without as much as a hello. Canada was used to it.
The only person that could see him was his pet -Kumajiro, a tiny polar bear- who regularly forgot his name. Well, at least he was seen by him, right?
He pet the small, white bear as it sat on his lap at the park bench, pushing up his glasses every so now and then.
Today was the day he was going to be seeing his other half for the hundredth time. Madeline.
He glanced at the clocktower. 3:00. She was half an hour late.
This wasn't like her. Obviously something was wrong.
A outside force somehow told him that she wasn't sick or dead. She was okay, but she was in a far-off place.
"Great, now I have to go find her." He got up, Kumajirou tumbling down to the dewy grass. "Maybe there's people who know people who had a similar fate. Maybe I should go find them."



The cave's moist wall ground up against England's thin, green shirt, and the accompanying blue shawl. He watched the water-drops slowly seep from the ceiling and fall to the floor. The stalagmites as they ever-so-slowly formed. The occasional bat that would fly up to the rock ceiling and settle, or fly off to look for bugs.
Day, he'd forgotten actually, of being in this place.
He slowly got up, closing his emerald eyes and trying to recall happy memories.
His mother -whose face he'd forgotten- singing to him in a sweet voice.
Getting up and walking for the first time.
Clapping along to the choir in church.
Those were the only happy memories he had.
He'd gotten used to sadness. It surrounded him in this cave.
He started roaming around, looking for other people to talk to. He was getting lonely.

Misaki was staring at a fish she was gripping in her hand. The curse put on her hand been lifted, resulting in this creature to come right out of her skin. She was hungry and felt the need to eat. She could cook it and eat it, or keep it in memory of home. Was it wrong to eat a cursed fish? She sighed in frustration and let the fish slip from her grasp, falling into a nearby shallow puddle. Madeline finishes and sits on the floor of the rocky cave thinking of her family." I-is anyone h-here?" She says nervously playing with the shawl she had been given.

Ranrei looked at the train station ahead. "How big do you think the dragon is?" She asked. "If it's really big I don't know if I'll be able to use my magic on it."
