She shrugged. "Okay, good point. Where are you two gonna go after you escape the madness?" Clara was still slightly traumatized from the wild chaotic mess, which was her opinion of the party. "You could come back here, or we could go to..." She trailed off, glancing at Finny. Clara wasn't sure if telling Felix about their safe haven in the field that Jace had found was a good idea.

Finny beckoned Clara over to her in silence. Her gaze was flitting between Jace and Felix.

She shrugged. "Okay." Clara tried not to be hurt, even though it was stupid to take it personally. "For now, you're eating pizza, though." Clara walked over to the oven; she hadn't managed to burn the pizza yet, so she figured it was safe to eat. She plopped the pizza on a plate, using a sharp knife from a kitchen drawer to cut it into slices. "Eat up, guys."
