"well usually they'll just try to kill you or lure you into the water to drown you." Sapphire replied. she saw him stand up and asked sadly, "are you leaving now?"

"Nope, just need to stand. You'll never know if that jaguar would come back and not." Kane said and when he mentioned the jaguar, he looked behind him. "I tend to get into trouble."

I hesitated before saying "So I guess it wouldn't be weird if I did this." I leaned over and kissed his cheek. I bit my lip nervously waiting for his reaction.

I raised an eyebrow. "I think the real question is how do you eat so much?" I smiled and shook my head. "I guess you people burn more energy swimming around all day instead of walking."

((Sounds good to me. Ailowny wouldn't be good in a hostage situation, especially with others trapped. She might even turn on the other mers. Hmm. It's interesting to think about! But I'd be fine with joining the rescue team instead of being trapped if it made things easier. ^-^

(i'm fine with either thing Ailowny becomes. as for jumping in she could stumble apon Sapphire and Kane. that way we can have them all together for the kiddnapping.)

"oh, okay." Sapphire replied with a small smile. "what kind of trouble?" she asked. "are Jaguars common where you come from?"

Sam's face reddened and he kissed her back, on the lips this time.

"No, but I usually start fights with peoples just for...you can say, fun, and after I get either beat the crap out of or if person gets the crap beat out of them...They are usually out to get me." Kane said with a chuckle.
