»Eagleflight has a remarkable amount of empathy for other cats, and that makes it difficult to hide things from her. Still, she knows when to press things, and when not to, and generally doesn't try to interfere unless she believes the cats health is at risk. She is quick both mentally amd physically, but the idea of causing harm to another cat bothered her to the point of nausea, which stopped her from becoming a warrior. She has a good memory for herbs, but a poor sense of confidence in herself. Being praised tends to confuse her as she knows they are being truthful, but feels like whatever she did doesn't deserve it. No matter what it was.
»A sleek, short furred dark brown striped tabby. Her stomach, chest, and paws are a lighter brown. Her tail is long, and tipped with white, and her eyes are gold with a slight green tint near the pupils.
«Brightblaze is bold, and has a habit of rushing into things before he considers his actions. He's not foolish, just a bit rash at times, and he has the scars to prove it. A lot of it stems from his relationship with his now long deceased mother, though he tries to hide it. He's still easy enough to get along with, if a bit stubborn, and always enjoys a good laugh. He draws the line at teasing and tormenting others, however. He's always the one standing up to bullies and is never the bully himself. He's a good fighter, but an average hunter at best. And he can never seem to catch birds.

»« Despite having different mothers, the then Eaglekit and Lostkit were born only three days apart, 'Lostkit' was older, and they took to each other instantly.
Eaglekit was simply named for her coloring, but Lostkit was named by his grieving mother, who barely had enough energy after her mate's death to birth him. She named him, in her own words, 'for her lost future with her mate'. She died soon after and was instead nursed by Eaglekit's mother, who had plenty of milk for the two kits.
Lostkit was the only cat Eaglekit told about her aversion to violence, and desire to become a medicine cat. He supported her, but the current medicine cat already had an apprentice, and Eaglekit was forced to be apprenticed to a warrior.
When they became apprentices, the leader took the opportunity to help the poorly named Lostkit, and while Eaglekit simply became Eaglepaw, Lostkit became Brightpaw. However, it became abundantly clear that while Brightpaw took right to the warrior life, Eaglepaw was never meant to be on the battle field. Luckily, a moon into the disaster she called her time as a warrior apprentice, the current medicine cat apprentice realized they weren't cut out for it and switched places with her.
So Brightpaw became Brightblaze, and Eaglepaw became a medicine cat apprentice, then Eagleflight, then very very recently, the sole medicine cat, which she is still adjusting too.
»«The two cats are still very close, there are rumours of them secretly being mates, though it is entirely false as Eagleflight takes her role very seriously. They view each other more like siblings, and still speak often.
