Hnnnng I haven't posted here in forever and I feel bad OTL. But, I come with news either way. ;w;"
I've been writing with these two for quite awhile now, and planning some form of relationship for them... But it ended up going a bit farther than I had originally intended. ;w;"

A woman with wisps of trailing light moved through the small diner, every face that turned her way unfamiliar as she kept her bi-coloured eyes downcast. She tugged self-consciously at the fraying threads of her long-sleeve shirt, thin bruises just barely visible beneath the worn fabric.
Her memories darted back to the long nights before the bright screen, an unknown face on the other side who always managed to take her breath away, despite this young woman knowing nothing of what the other looked like. Sofiel had received some vague descriptions, of course, and had given some in return... But as per agreement, neither had met the other.
Although tonight was the night that was going to change as Sofi scanned the crowd for who she was looking for, beginning to tug at her shirt sleeves once again. Movement at one of the corner tables caught her attention, and she hesitantly started towards the other woman. Sofi's eyes met the crystal blue of the other woman, who was hastily standing, looking rather flustered.
A pale blue kimono adorned the woman's slender frame, small white petals trailing throughout the fabric; as she stood, her sleeve sent various objects skittering across the table, and all Sofi could do was hold back a smile as she approached.

Loni stood with very little grace, her sleeve catching on several of the objects positioned upon the table - she was already turning scarlet, hastily trying to fix the items, when a gentle hand rested on hers. Her blue eyes lifted to meet the pastels of the taller woman, and her breath caught as she noticed the shapes within each of them.
"Easy," Sofiel murmured gently as she returned the items to their original positions, her slender fingers trembling slightly as if even such a small task was an effort for them.
Loni felt a twist of sorrow wrench through her heart at the sight, even if she knew the reason behind it. She felt as if she had known this woman all her life, even if it had only been a couple of years messaging each other back and forth through email; they had grown close, and it had been easy to disclose secrets that they normally would not have told any other. As such, around roughly three months ago, they had started a bit of a long-distance "dating" phase, and Loni knew that she loved this woman before her.
"Sofiel," she breathed, her attention fully enraptured by the other, her usual stutter non-existent before her girlfriend. "It's so wonderful to finally see you at last."
Loni began to fidget suddenly, her face heating up as her anxiety about what was to happen next; she had planned this some time ago, when she had first realized that she had fully and irrevocably fallen in love with Sofiel, and they had planned their eventual meeting - online, yes, but that didn't make what they felt any less real.
"Sofiel," she repeated, louder this time, her small fingers beginning to fidget with something hidden in her sleeve; although she was nervous, her voice remained strong and clear. "I love you, and I know these last few months have been a bit of a ride for both of us... But when I think of the future, all I can see is you. You light up my life, and you have given me more purpose than I ever thought possible."
Loni's voice began to falter at the end as she drew in a deep breath, pulling a small box from within her wide sleeves.
"So... I can't let you be the one who got away. I can't picture myself without you, and I can only hope you feel the same," she continued, a small blue-velvet box slipping into her tiny fingers. "I'm asking you, Sofiel Moonbow, to be my mate."

Sofiel watched Loni with a strange expression on her face as she began fidgeting; something important was about to happen, although she had no idea what it could be. She instinctively reached forward, wrapping her own slender fingers around the more petite ones of Loni.
A gentle smile formed on her lips at Loni's greeting, the other woman becoming suddenly flustered as she began to speak again. A stir of emotions welled up within her at Loni's words, her heart beating loudly within her chest as the words continued, making no sense at first.
Sofi was silent for several moments, too shocked to form a reply as her mind whirled; she could see the growing distress in Loni's eyes as her silence continued. However, at last, she seemed to find herself and leaned down to place a gentle kiss upon her lips before leaning her forehead against hers.
"Of course," she answered softly.

Okay, can i just say that this has to be one of the cutest ships, with the cutest story i've ever read. I just wanted to point this out, because it'd be rude of me to say it. that is beautiful writing, with the perfect plumes with it. I hope for a bright future for these plumes!~
(Maybe the ship name could be Sofieloni if you haven't already thought of one? <3)
