I put my hands on my hips and examined the area around us. "Over there looks pretty flat. Should we build the house over there?" I pointed at a flat part near the water. "If we dug down into the dirt it would give a good foundation once we hit rock."

((Something need to happen....What I don't know. And sorry for not really be on these last two days.))

Kane noticed that there were scratches on her arm, and he started swimming towards her. A frown formed on his face, but he just wants to be sure that they won't become infected. A jaguar's claws were not the most sanitized of things to get hurt on. "Are you alright?"

(that's okay. is there any ideas people would like to do?)
"i'd like that." Sam replied and took a comfortable seat on the ground so they could talk by the water.

"n-no. i-i'm fine." Sapphire replied quickly, swimming backwards a little and put her arm back underwater. she didn't want him to look at it closely or else he might notice the skin-colored scales sprinkling her arms. she didn't quite know why she was still trying to keep a secret, she was near the shore now and it wasn't like she could jump out and run.

Kane stopped swimming as he didn't know what to do now. Clearly she didn't want him to get close or it could be the possibility that she doesn't want him to touch her. He didn't want to offend her by doing anything that would make her uncomfortable. "Sorry. I didn't mean to offend you in anyways, but do you know where we're at?"

"I could tell you more about what it's like underwater if you want. Stories and whatnot. Some of them are pretty interesting."

"t-that's okay. i wasn't offended." Sapphire replied shyly. "well... it's called Nirvinia, but most people just call it the island even if they know it's name. (just came up with that.)

"Sure, your good at planning" she said walking over, she started to dig with a piece of wood.

I crossed my legs and thought for a moment. "Well, supposedly, sirens are descendants of the Greek god river Achelous or the Roman sea god Phorchys. There have always been stories about sirens in the ships that wreck here, in books and whatnot. Some of them talk about our singing." I explained how our singing was often just us expressing ourselves and letting out emotions, not just for trapping sailors.

I joined her and soon we had dug a decent sized hole. From there I showed her how to place the wood and some more of the sand for filling between any cracks. Soon we had finished the foundation. I looked up at the sky startled. "I didn't realize so much time had passed."

(I would think afternoon) "it looks good, should we take a rest?" She asked whipeing her brow

I nodded. I went over to the pool which looked fairly clear and drank some water. "I hope this water is clean cause I'm drinking it." I managed a half smile.
