Pebblepaw watched the mouse scurry closer, then he pounced onto the small creature. He grabbed it between his teeth and let it struggle a last few heart beats, before bitting down on it causing it to go limp.

Ravenpaw yawned and stretched as she rose to her feet. It was unlike her to have taken a mid-day nap, but something about the warmth had her dozing off. With a couple short licks to her chest and a flick of her tail, she turned her round amber eyes to her surroundings and suddenly realized she was missing out on the day! She rotated her ears for signs of activity as she visually scanned the area for the same; trying desperately to evade the feeling of boredom overcoming her.
