Dawnkit padded over to the freshkill pile and sniffed around. She was disinterested in any of the food and she looked around for something to do.

He nodded faintly, splaying his ears as he slowly drifted off to sleep. His dreams were vivid, fire flickering and wisps of smoke bellowing in the air...his world hazy. He could see something dim within the shadows, cats letting out utter howls of terror as they ran, screeching as they were burned alive, flames lapping at their ghostly fur. Pike gave a small gasp in his sleep, choking through the smoke- the sunlight creeping across the sky at the crack of dawn. The clan rung in his ears, the young Tom jolting awake with a small yelp.
Gorsepaw blinked, his eyes wide. It was just a dream, just a dream...

He blinked, swallowing hard. "-I had an awful dream, the sky embers- I heard them."
