[Not much has been going on- Raven burnt a rabbit, she healed Ruty's wounds, they went down to the water for a bit, now they're off to Ravens grandparents house just past the woods.]

Ruty nodded, "Your lucky that you have somebody like them. Someone to care for you." He said, smiling. "I honestly haven't been in a house since I died- I mean, I've seen inside some, but never actually been in one." He said.

"Really?" Raven asked, her eyebrows raised. "Theirs isn't big. Or special or anything. It's basically just the kitchen, the living room, a bathroom in the hallway, and some doors in the hallway that lead to my room and their room. There's weird wizard stuff everywhere too. I think my grandpa still has his first wand. Back in the day you had to have one when you went to magic school, but not anymore. I've never had one."

[Lol when you said 'wizard stuff everywhere' I thought it was a reference to Homestuck and Rose's house, then I remembered that Ravens a witch, not a alcoholic mother obsessed with collecting wizard statues...]

Ruty nodded and sighed, "I remember very little of my house when I was a kid, but even then, I'm sure its changed quite a bit..." He said, "Again, though, I'm quite excited to see what's 'mainstream'." He said, laughing quietly.

(I've been trying to read Homestuck lately but it's hard since I don't have my own phone right now. uvu I'm definitely going to though.)

Raven looked up to see that they were nearing the edge of the woods. She could see the clearing beyond the trees. "Where did you live? We're almost there, by the way." She pointed beyond the trees.

[Ghhdjdjjz, you have to. It's soooo good. Your probably going to hear this from everyone you ask about it, but do not skim or skip anything. I had to go back to the very beginning because I skipped the first three acts and then had absolutely no clue what was going on. To understand it better though, there's a YouTube let's read]

Ruty shrugged, "I lived in a rather quiet town up in Canada, I can't remember where exactly though." He said, crossing his arms. "It's nice up there, not very cold, not very warm." He said.

(I'm like desperate rip. I have heard a ton of people say that but I wanna read it so so bad. There are a few people who like it at my school and they keep telling me I look like John or Eridan. I was flattered. xD)

Raven nodded as she stepped out into the tall grass of the field. "It was like that where I was born. It was usually more cold than anything, though. I lived there until I had to move here. That was when I was..." She paused, trying to remember when she had moved in with her grandparents. "...fourteen? Thirteen? One of those, anyway."

Ethan grinned and gave Scarlett a little side hug. "Good, because your my kawaii wolf, I don't like it when you're sad."

[agh, it's so good, you won't regret it. It's the most emotion mixed comic. It's made me cry, laugh, ping the wall in anger. Agh it's great. Also eridan and John are great. I love eridan so much. By this, I'm guessing you wear glasses?]

Ruty nodded slowly, closing his eyes as the cold air fluttered around him. "If you don't mind me asking...what happened to your parents...?" He asked quietly, hoping it wasn't anything like what happened to his.

(I'm really excited to read it. But no, I don't. cx I don't think I really look like either of them but I'm sure I could if I tried. I would look horrible in glasses probably.)

"They're...alive. They're still in England. I haven't seen them in person since I moved here. I don't talk to them much in general, actually. Neither of them are wizards. My mom said she thought it would be better to send me off to live with my grandparents since they're both wizards. That way they could teach me things she couldn't. But I think that she just didn't trust me. She never let me go to public school because she thought it'd be dangerous to put me around 'normal' kids. I was always homeschooled. But anyway, yeah. They're alive. They're just not...present, if that makes sense." Her eyes began to water slightly as she explained it all, and she had to swallow the painful lump in her throat. She couldn't let herself cry knowing that Ruty had it much worse and was walking right beside her. "There's the trail," she said quietly, pointing to it in the distance.
