Bahkuu are a strange canine-like species. They sport fur with a similar length as a wolf's, except on their necks, tails, and a small area on each side along their ribs, just behind the shoulder. These areas are covered with a thick, transparent hide. Inside these areas a viscous liquid material, similar in consistency to honey. Inside their bodies, this material is only a thin layer, contained by a durable membrane separating it from other body structures. This material is slightly luminous, often unnaturally colored, warm to the touch, and gives off pheromones; the scent depends on the Bahku's mood and experiences. When the Bahku is experiencing a positive emotion, the scent that particular Bahku associates most strongly with that emotion will be faintly emitted. The Bahkuu themselves call this material their Ryuuke. The other unique characteristic of Bahkuu is their black-colored scleras, which almost never vary. Apart from this, various colors markings, and even mutations such as manes, extra fur, or even horns can appear in different Bahkuu.

➣ No spamming of topics; this includes 'good luck' posts and bumping.
➣ Obey all individual contest rules.
➣ Do not grant your Bahku supernatural/magical powers unless you are given permission or the contest indicates them.
➣ Do not ask to be a staff member; applications or contests will open when needed.
➣ The current ownership limit is 5 Bahkuu per person.
➣ Trading or selling of Bahkuu is not permitted.
➣ If you no longer want your Bahku, please PM me and it will be put up for readoption.
