Auden sits under a tree in the park, enjoying the sunny day from the comfort of the shade. He had his sketchbook out and was sketching his favorite bird(the sparrow). He had always loved birds, as well as nature in general, due to how peaceful they made him feel. He had never quite fit in with others his age, and since his mom had died, his shyness had gotten worse. He would like friends, but he never knew how to connect with others his age. Most of his days were spent drawing, making sure his mom's garden was well taken care of, and writing new song lyrics(though he would never sing in public).

Clem had her camera drawn up to her eye and was clicking away at nothing in particular. She had decided to take her dog for a walk for a while, trying to avoid her Father who she was still mad at, and had found herself in the park of the new town she called home. She pulled the camera away from herself and started flicking through the photos she'd taken, deleting ones that were blurry or uninteresting. Most of the pictures were just trees, which wasn't particularly interesting but would probably look nice on her blog.
Clem looked up at the sound of a bark, her little dog, Joey was chasing after a pigeon and seemed to be having a wonderful time.She pointed her camera at him and took a couple more photos.

Auden looks up from his sketchbook at the sounds of barking. He sees a dog chasing a pigeon. A small smile came to his lips. While he rather preferred dogs, he didn't mind dogs either. He liked almost every animal actually. He saw a girl taking pictures of the dog, which he assumed to be hers, and he instantly looked back down shyly. He almost seemed to be hiding behind his sketch book. From what he saw in the brief few seconds of looking, she looked kinda pretty. He didn't really feel attracted to her, but he had to admit she was pretty.

I sprinted along the park path, stopping short when I was a guy sitting alone by a tree. I walked over with a bounce in my step, making my ponytail swing from side to side. I paused my I pod and said, "Hi, I'm Ever, what your name." to the boy. I was always known for being really outgoing, I loved the make friends. The barking of a dog in the background make me want to turn to look, as I loved dogs, but I kept my eyes trained on the boy, my hand held out for him to shake it.

Auden's eyes jerk up as a different girl suddenly bounces up in front of him. He stares at her hand for a moment. His eyes look at her, then to the ground, then up again. He gives her one of his small, shy smiles and finally shakes her hand. His grip was gentle, and not too firm. "Oh, um, hi." He says. His voice is calm and soft. His cheeks are slightly flushed with embarrassment and bashfulness. Sometimes his dad said he was much too shy. And he completely and utterly agreed with him on that matter. He even thought that he was too shy, and he hated that about himself.

Auden chuckled softly, his eyes darting down to the ground. "I'm Auden....I know, weird name huh?" He said, pulling his sketch book back to him and pulls his knees to his chest. He felt uncomfortable with the idea of her seeing his sketch, especially with it not being finished yet and all. "So, uh....what's your name?" He asks her, his eyes finally turning back to her. His smile grew a little bit more. At least she seemed like a nice person, and wasn't a bully like some people were to him and his family.
