~THE ISLAND OF NO RETURN~ version 2 (accepting forever!)

"oh, that was you?" Sam asked, realizing he had moved a little in front of Skye protectively. at first he was a little worried about Skye when they came out, thinking that the two were human and didn't know what their reactions would be if they found out she was a siren. but if the girl was a siren, the one that left the basket in fact, and openly addmitting to it, then they should be safe. "thanks for the basket by the way." he said as he gave Skye a little more distance.

Kane noticed that there was a lake up ahead, and he ran up towards it before he knelt down to cup his hands and drank some water. It was a surprise that nothing jumped out at him but he shouldn't jinx himself.

"No problem" she smiled " um we were wondering if you knew any spots where we could build a house... And that is near a place accessible by sea" she smiled at raven,

"well i guess Skye would be better at answering that then me." Sam replied, casting a look towards Skye.

(hmmmmmm.... nah. i'm gonna make him jinx himself. XD)
Sapphire heard a small rustle of leaves and looked over to see a Jaguar prowling through the shade of the trees. they often came here during the heat of the day to drink and cool off. she realized with horror at what it was stalking as the big cat prepared to pounce. quickly picking up a nearby rock the threw it, striking the Jaguar's face. it hissed and turned on her, letting out a roar.

"wait!the pond where I sing sometimes! That is where we should build the house!" She yelled exitedly

I suddenly felt vulnerable when Sam moved away, and I shifted over next to him and took his hand silently. Whether I showed it or not, I didn't feel safe on land in front of others, but Sam's presence was comforting. "Anywhere with rock should be fine. There are some cliffs on that side of the island."

Raven | Human | 19

"Also," I added. "Is the wood on this island any good for building boats? I'd like to get off as soon as possible."

She sighed, and with a frown she said "there is a curse on the island, humans were killing are kind so any human staranded here is stuck... For ever" she looked away sorry for him "I wish I could help" she murmured sadly

Kane froze in spot when he heard a roar from one of the big cats he had managed to stay away from until now. He slowly turned around and saw a jaguar not some distance away. "Nice kitty. Don't kill...or eat me." It was all he could say when he started to back away some, though it was towards the water.

Sam blushed a bit when Skye took his hand but didn't remove his, instead held her hand back to bring her some security while they talked. "well i guess that's the place then." he replied to Crystal.

the boy was right in front of her just a few inches away from the water's edge. at this point the Jaguar was agitated at them both and made a swipe at the boy with his claws. Sapphire jumped up and pulled him down into the water so that he wouldn't be scratched and pulled him into the middle of the lake. the Jaguar paced the shore angrily, about to jump in after them. but one more rock launched at it and it decieded they weren't worth the trouble and ran off. Sapphire was still holding onto the boy and slightly shaking from fear.

I shrugged. "Fair point." Getting off this island may be impossible, but it would be horrible to do nothing while on it

Skye | Siren | 18

I smiled hesitantly. "Have fun building a house. Sounds like a lot of work." I'd rather have my cave underwater any day. Too bad the human couldn't survive there. Too bad Sam couldn't survive there...at least not yet
