Caleb saw a jewelers store, and walked in. He looked around, and saw a beautiful silver necklace that had a large sapphire on it. He instantly knew she would love it. "Sir, Your eyeing that? i wanted to let you know, it's 4,000 yen." She explained. Caleb's eyes widened. He didn't even have one yen! All he carried was wizard money, and a few coins from Scotland.

"Oh that's not much," Tomoyo said automatically. She remember that Caleb had no money, though.

"What? Oh, I thought you were talking about the watch. The necklace is 100,000 yen." The clerk corrected herself. Caleb's jaw dropped. He wanted this for Ayumi desperately... But he couldn't get it for her. "Thanks..." He mumbled, and sagged his shoulders. "Tomoyo-chan, let's go to the clothing store in this mall."

Tomoyo looked at the crestfallen look on Calebs face.
"You could borrow some," she said.

"From where?" Caleb looked at her, confused.

"I know people in high places. As a matter of fact, I bet Yue-san would even lend you money," Tomoyo said. "We Japanese are very polite."

"That's unlikely. I mean, Who would lend me 100,000 yen? Even someone rich?" Caleb pointed out, walking through the large Japanese mall. Much bigger than the ones in France, or even Britian!

Tomoyo just smiled at him.
"You'd be surprised at how many people would offer you money. Even just asking a few people for separate amounts of the full."

They handed Brooklynne her violin and she started playing Christmas carols and everybody sang along.

"Who would I ask?" Caleb continued, confused why anyone would lend someone that much money.
