SAO was a bit too slow for me the first few minutes in and it never really caught my attention so I never continued watching it, heh //shot

Oh man! I'm rewatching Wolf Rain and it's euphoric, it's such a nice anime~

I just finished watching Death Parade.
It was really heartwrenching and emotional and had a lot of funny moments in it, so I recommend it to everyone of you.
The whole atmosphere is so dark and deep...
(Plus it only has 12 episodes so there's nothing you can do wrong, right?)
I can't really describe the plot without spoiling, but basically it's about when two people die in the same second, they come to a "bar" called Quindecim.
They don't remember that they died, but they're told that if they want to escape, they have to play a game they "bet their lives on" (what's impossible, because they are, you know... dead.)
Depending on their memories and how they act while playing, they are either sent to reincarnation or into the endless nothing.
There are all these stories about all these different people and they're all so interesting.
You don't know who or how they were and how they'll react and where they will be sent, and then there are the "judges" and that mysterious girl....
And the intro is great.
Just watch it people.

Also, does anyone know if there's foing to be a second season?

Oh, I love Death Parade! But I can't bring myself to watch the last two episodes, I feel like it's going to hurt lol.

But yeah, I agree with all the new points kai. said. If you want to watch SOA, watch the first 14 episodes or so and then leave it at that.

Does anyone here like Accel World? I think it was created by the same person as SOA but never got as popular. I prefer it over SOA however, and would rather have another season for Accel World as it has yet to have a conclusion.

I was at an anime con last weekend, and at the Crunchyroll booth they were giving stuff away to premium members. Except I wasn't familiar with any of the new anime they had posters and stuff for. The two employees working the booth described one of the shows as, "Like Sword Art Online, except not terrible"

and it made me laugh hahaha

even the crunchyroll employees hate SAO and they stream it

lol i totally agree with all the statements here XD I thought it was watchable but not necessarily re-watchable
and once it got to season two i just couldn't

sao.......... sucked really bad
there was so much unnecessary fan service and the characters were all annoying
also gun gale online made me so angry ?? like yah !!! strong lady character n then kirito comes along but why honestly the plot could've been so much better
its the same w asuna, too
like at first she's a really strong character lady power woo and then in the second part of the first season she does..... nothing
now i think about it, its the same story with basically every single female character in the series
the way it portrays women makes me so angry
and then kirito is this perfect person who can do anything and everything

Let's not forget the strange thing that a sword in gun gale online is super expensive and yet it's known to be useless but Kirito goes in and just automatically is amazing at an entirely different game. Like okay.
