[Silent Mist]

Lionkit jumped awake from a dream he was having where he was out in the forest. His birth mother was there but she ran off leading a fox away from Lionkit but she never returned. He had a nightmare about the fox coming back to get him. His little chest was heaving as he tried to calm down.

Dappleleaf hadn't slept and was straight on it. "Shhh, shh." she mewed gently. "It's ok, it was just a dream."

Moonfur woke and wrapped her tail around Lionkit more to comfort him. "There there. It's ok. What happened?" she asked him gently.

Lionkit looked between the two she-cats before looking at the dens floor. "A fox was trying to get me... it got my mommy..."

Moonfur licked his head. "Don't worry. The only foxes around here are crowfood. And Tigereye is your new mum, she loves you, doesn't she? And Dappleleaf and I are here for you too."

Dappeleaf bought over some poppy seeds. "these will help you fall asleep again and if you chew them you will forget about this pretty soon. They make you feel better."

Lionkit looked up at Moonfur and nodded. "yeah..She does. I don't think pumakit or lynx kit do..." He looked down at the seeds. "okay.. thank you Dappleleaf" he ate the seeds before curling up again.

Moonfur smiled. "Lynxkit and Pumakit do love you. You're their best friend!" she mewed as he fell asleep.

Lionkit yawned. "O..okay" he went back to sleep

Moonfur fell asleep shortly. Dpple didnt.

Breezefrost poked her head into the medicine cat den. "Dappleleaf?" She whispered. "How is he doing?"

She lifted her tired head. "He's good. Getting better but he'll be here for at least two more days. I feel like I need to be given medicine help!" she laughed. She had not had any sleep yet.
