well despite the minor setbacks, please buckle some seatbelts because I have a little lengthy post here for y'all.
So first off I wanna thank the four awesome guest judges who helped me with this. y'all are hella rad for taking your time and waiting for me to get this all set up and ready. B] you guys are real rad for helping me out with this.
and thanks to the contestants! all the forms were really nice, actually. we're all super surprised, too. if possible I would've given a runner up, but I don't believe I'm allowed to for this: I'll be double checking with honourable/zuppe about this {as they must reply to my first PM! cx}.
now, this judging was based on what ideas for paint/name combinations you guys had. I had a super duper close call, but thanks to the final judge {who admissibly came a bit late, which worked out alright in the end}, we came to a conclusion. <33
First, I'd like to say that shadow9119 is the person who came in second for this. The name was liked quite a bit. Even though it was French, the little latin root gave me a nice little giggle {which of course no one else understood because I'm the only one who takes latin}.
The pain was a good idea, actually. Ironically no one thought of the idea of watercolor paint. Brilliant idea, actually.
Another close call was for daring girlfriend for this! However, we felt your form was a little too much for the short contest, as the contest didn't allow any extras and we saw some little tidbits of hobbies and knowledge in there. The ability to explain if it has special properties was allowed, and what it might be used for, but it was general consensus it was just a little too much. Magnificent form, just a little too much for this contest. Some of the judges felt it wasn't completely fair on this aspect {I'll believe this is referring to the last two paragraphs, not entirely, just some parts}. Otherwise, we did love your form! You had a good idea. <3
Nonetheless, there can only be one winner.
Everyone had brilliant forms, and if you'd like, you can feel free to PM me on as why you didn't get higher / whatnot. <3 I'll be glad to help!
So, I am quite proud to say that the winner of this RPW is.... Snow! Congratulations, we found your name not only delightful, but we absolutely loved the idea of the paint. Of course, none of us even thought of this idea- and we do thank you for the insight on this, because otherwise we would've been blubbering seals super duper confused. You tied in everything so it fits very nicely, and follows all contest requirements. There was a some questions about the ending two sentences, but they do fit the standards of telling us what special qualities their paint has. Quite honestly, this is an out of the box idea I think I can say that took all of us by surprise.
I do enjoy the idea that they're genderqueer, and thank you for adding they're DFAB {this helps in the process of their sibling being finished and finalized cx}. I'm not all that well rounded in the 'gender' spectrum thing, so I'm quite excited to work with you! Hopefully you can teach me a little something. <3 Send me a PM whenever you're available, I'd love to discuss about histories and relationships and personalities, and all the little things, and send you a little look of what I've started on so far of their sibling. <3
to everyone else, you all had again wonderful forms! if you have any questions, I'll be answering all questions {except for questions that might be asking about the anonymity protection of our lovely judges} you guys have. <3
best of luck in future competitions!

Congrats, Snow! I really love hydrophobic material, and I think it was such an amazing idea. I know you'll take good care of Neso, since you do the same with your other RPWs.
Thank you for being unafraid to critique my form! Now that I look back, I agree, it was too much. I was filled to the brim with ideas, and I couldn't stay concise.
I hope you continue to judge contests like this, it's very fair and actually helps the others that entered.

No problem! <33 I know the feeling, so you're not alone. I've done that on a few contests myself and didn't realize until one of the judges had pm'ed me and told me what I did wrong. cx
I'll probably continue to judge other contests like this if the opportunity to hold contests / announce winners arises, as I find it easiest for me to post results like that, and its a little more sincere that way: I don't want to come off as someone who's not open for questions, comments, or concerns, because I'm always happy to help out absolutely anyone who PMs me. As well, all staff should be approachable and I aim to be approachable too. <3

Oh my. qvq" I literally had to take it all in before responding. At first I thought I was imagining things, but after rereading, I realized that I read correctly.
Eeek, wow! I was really nervous because there were so many lovely forms and really interesting paint ideas. ;o; Ahhh, thank you so much! I'm very honored! I'm glad you [ and the judges ] found my idea interesting, ahhh. qwq <33 And yes, do feel free to shoot me a PM if you'd like to discuss relationships and what not. c: I'd love to discuss that too. Also, I'm not the best at explaining things so if someone who is better at that may add in, but genderqueer is a gender that doesn't fit into the binary of "male" or "female". I hope that helps a bit. ;D;
Also, congrats on the mentions, Shadow and Daring! qvq I was mostly worried about both of your forms, ahh.
XxX Snow
