The whole Coven was in grief for the next months-even years on end. Ozark became more vicious and more strict towards the Coven, especially as the prey got weaker and less populated. Hunter camps were set up, scanning the forest for the Coven and everything inside it. I walked through the forest as a human, watching and waiting for something I knew was about to happen. I had grown to possess this power, to see a little ways into the future. I was growing older, but I felt no aging effects. I saw a young Vampyre walking around the forest behind a large hunting patrol. Celyna, the female leading it, whispered "I sent out a few tracking spells, and I've got nothing in any direction but hunters and one feeble rabbit newborn." Zylan, another Vampyre in the patrol, addressed "Then we should go after the rabbit, it's all we have." Celyna nodded and the whole pack darted off to the east. The young one was confused and he tried to catch up, but the pack was too large and too fast for him to catch up. He stumbled over a rock and then he tripped over a few holes in the ground. He looked around, worried. A group of voices were heard in the west. The Vampyre looked over and he ran to the nearest trench in the ground and he ducked his head under a fallen log. The group of hunters walked by, their metal armor clanging against the foliage. They all held crossbows and sedative arrows-the stench of Vampyre sedative was easily recognizable to the young Vampyre. The Vampyre trembled in fear and a hunter looked down at him. The hunter shouted "Ey, I found another of those leeches!" and a large amount of clanging and stomping was heard. "Really Erin, in the middle of a swamp of all places!?" The first Hunter nodded, and the Vampyre took the notion to run. He darted away, and a large amount of screams came from the group of Hunters. They shot a crossbow at him and pierced his leg. The Vampyre screamed, and the group of Hunters caught up to him. "They always run, don't they Erin?" the first Hunter nodded. The crossbow bolt was obviously taking effect, considering the Vampyre looked overly drowsy, fighting an endless battle to stay awake. They dragged him off to one of their camps-I was right their behind them. The sign overhead said Biel, Work Camps for Unnatural Beings they branded him: Vampyre, 879,603. He didn't even have a name anymore. I watched him grow up in that camp into a hard-working brutal fighter, sharp in the tongue and devious in the mind. He would live long enough to complete his destiny. Time passes in the dead world too quickly. Watching someone else's life is like watching a movie that you can partially manipulate. I was a "ghost". I went back to the Coven grounds and I saw the young Vampyre-that wasn't young anymore. The one that looked like Cerda. She was a direct copy. They had named her Ember, for what reason I cannot state. I carried her mate to the grounds of light when he died. It was another grave time for the clan. I had to deliver all of their souls to death when the time came. She had a wiser idea, to leave. But I knew that Ozark would never leave Cerda's body in the ground alone. He fought so hard to not leave and I could understand... mainly... I followed her while hunting and then I saw Envy. She smiled arrogantly at me and casted a spell on a large group of bear traps. She held a cage in one hand. Inside was a pure-bred white rabbit-a sign of death for Vampyres. I tackled Envy and shouted "No! Stop your incidents, dark creature!" She looked at me, "I thought you were the dark one Rage. What happened, too soft for you?" she spitted. She then looked at the cage and dropped it, letting the door crash open "Oops, that wasn't supposed to happen." She said in a mockery innocent tone. I had to get that rabbit away before they lured the hunting party to it. She shifted form, leapt at my and clawed my good eye. She used her shoulders and barred me into a large stone, cracking my back in several spots. I heard her laughing as my eyes were deemed "useless". When I cleared the blood out of my eyes, I looked around and saw the white rabbit, dead in the center. I saw Stone rush up to it and fall into a trap. Not long afterwards, it was a bloodbath of death between hunters and Vampyres. I closed my eyes and reopened them in the Council Grounds. I had work to do because of Envy. She will pay for it later I told myself, walking up to a blood stream. It was not like a usual stream, because I could see the souls inside it. It looked like blood to humans, it was spirits to me. They all called my name and a rematch, a new duel to try and kill me once more.
