Dappleleaf sighed. "I know, that's why I was going to let Moonfur take care of him for a little while. He;s ill, he needs my help. Moonfur is producing milk now. So is Silverstrike. He needs to be in the med-den. I'm sorry," she mewed firmly.

Shadestar yawned. "Oh StarClan, I'm so warn out. I'm going to go t bed. Save food for me ok?" he walked off.

Hawkstripe looked at Tigerear before looking back at Dappleleaf. "Fine..."

"Then I'll go to the medicine cat den with him," Tigerear said. "He's my kit now, and I want to take care of him."

"All right, see you!" Foxcloud called after him.

"I'm sorry, who's going to look after your kits though? It'll be a few days or even just two but he has to come with me." she repeated. She called for Lionkit gently.

(can Lionkit really like Dappleleaf and try to become med-cat apprentice? Or at least really like Dapple?)

"They will come too," Tigerear said firmly. "I'm not letting him out of my sight."

Lionkit crawled to Dappleleaf. He looked at Tigerear.

Hawkstripe looked at his mate. "Lets let him get help first. We dont want the others to get sick. He will still be our son." He tried to reason with her. "Please. We dont need them all to be sick."

"You don't understand, he needs me," Tigerear insisted.

"I think we'll be just fine. Don't worry Tigerear, it'll be fine." she lead Lionkit to the med-den. She nodded towards a waking Moonfur. "This is my sisiter Moonfur. She will be here if you want milk and warmth. I'd be the warmth but med cat rules say I can't. There is a feathery nest next to mine, you may use that. I made it for you," she mewed, licking his pelt softly.

Lionkit nodded slightly "o-okay..." he went to moonfur. He was really hungry.

Hawkstripe licked her ear. "You're here for him. It's just for a day or two..."

Moonfur smiled. "I have plenty of millk to spare," she lay on her side, allowing him to drink. Dapplelaf watched closely. He was a perfect med-cat, she could feel it.

Shadestar dreamed that night. StarClan told him that a proud lion would do well in medicine and follow in his best friends footsteps trying to save her.

Scarletpaw decided to take the piles to Dappleleaf.
