Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

Here DVF couples can try to have a litter of their own. If you want you DVF to have kits please read and follow the rules below.

Breeding Rules:
(all that are colored red are new rules)

• All CS rules and DVF Rules apply.
• Please do not rush the artist in any way. Your litter will come, but please be aware that the artist have lives outside of cs.
• There is NO limit to how many times you can breed. However divorced couples are limited to breed only once after they're mated again.
• Once a couple becomes mates, they're mates for life - divorce is rare but allowed if both partners agree to it and permission is given by both SnowStar and aviate.
• Litter sizes are between 1-4 kits each.
• Inbreeding is not allowed.
• There will never be any identical twins.
• Users can own up to 6 Adult DVFs, 4 Nursery DVFs, and 0 customs (unless awarded from event)
○ -- Staff can own up to 8 Adult DVFs, 6 Nursery DVFs, and 2 Customs.
• All kits born will always have a little bit of both parents design.
• Teen as well as Teens with PKS are allowed to breed. Teen are not allowed to breed with adults.
• You may only breed Delta Velorum Foxes that you own.
• You may breed with another's Delta Velorum Fox as long as you have other user's permission.
• Only males and females can have kits. Same sex couples are allowed to be mates and adopt kits, but can only have kits through special token given out in contests. If you try to breed a same sex couple without a breeding token you've won you will be given a warning.

• After each litter is born the parents must wait at least 1 month before breeding again.
• The couple must be listed in he mates/couples archive [located in the link that says "Archive"] in order to have a litter.

I won Halvor on the 2nd and decided almost right away to make them mates xmx. I loved their designs together and in truth I had written a story of Tora with her mysterious lover and Halvor's personality just clicked into it. I knew they were perfect for each other even though I own both.

New Rule Change!

You no longer have to wait 2 week once your couple becomes mates in order to breed.
BUT in order to breed the couple must be listed in the mates archive (send me a PM for a couple to be added to the archive) and must have a cool down period of one month after breeding before breeding again.
