Goldenstar

Goldenstar gazed around her clan, as they gathered in. A warm breeze tinted the clear, Leaf-Fall air. "Welcome, cats of LeafClan." She began. "Today I'll be assigning a mentor for a very special apprentice..." Goldenstar held the moment, for anticipation. But then she realized there would be no suprise considering LeafClan's only apprentice was who she was going to assign. "Brackenpaw." She mewed, flicking her tail in a signal for the young tom to approach. "StarClan honours your courage and obidience." She flashed a quick smile at the apprentice. "Today, we shall let them grow, with many other skills, as we assign you a mentor." Goldenstar's gaze traveled along her warriors, giving no hint to who it may be. "Your mentor will be Mintspots. Congradulations."

Mintspots

Mintspots ears pricked up as she heard her name being announced for Brackenpaw's mentor. Mintspots smiled and padded up to the highrock and leaped onto it. She tried to hide her pride, as to not appear like she was boasting in any way. The senior warrior gazed at her new apprentice with frosty blue eyes. She smiled at Brackenpaw. I've never been a mentor to an apprentice before, so this will be a great learning experience, She thought. For both me, and Brackenpaw. She was eager to start training, but waited patiently for Goldenstar to dismiss the clan.
