The tom was always quick to judge a cat by their levels of enthusiasm, but if he never saw someone messing around it was easy to assume they weren't the playful type.

Out of all the subjects he found twolegs the most amusing to talk about, their endless cycle of doing the same thing everyday like life couldn't change. "Ma and Pa did change their names after leaving as well as mine, I was just Sky for a while."

She looked at him softly,"What was it like to have a mate? What was she like?" She loved listening to stories, her eyes filled with uncertainty. She wanted to know everything about him, Patchfoot never had a mate or even really a friend. She wanted to hear what it felt like. She had lost her family but never someone as close to her as a mate.

Sleeping beside someone, knowing you won't die alone or be forgotten because every morning you wake to a smiling face who cares about you just as much as you care about them."

"Haha, like wise. Warriors are nice and all but I love the energy and care free attitude of apprentices and kits. It's like growing up is some magical thing, but in doing so they lose that spirit; sometimes." He never grew up because no one made him, his father had always treated him like a kitten and his excitement made it hard for others to be serious around him.

His stuck his tongue out, finding a few of the apprentices to be a bit dull at times. Stormpaw was just too mouthy for him to have fun with, always turning fun into some kind of challenge for his amusement. "They've all got missing parents though, that makes me sad. No one likes losing parents at such young ages."

He returns to camp from his small patrol, Dogtooth's absence made it hard to try and train since Stormpaw and Stonepaw weren't going to get along forever. Dropping his vole in the fresh kill pile, he notices Robinwing dozing off by herself. "Enjoying the afternoon sun?"
