Featherflight

I purred down at the kit. She was slightly bigger than my kits-my kits! I had to fight against the impulse to bring her to them, because Hawkfeather was right. I definitely didn't want them getting sick. Still, they must be nervous without me...

[storm coming.]

Hawkfeather rolled his eyes. "Yeah, isn't that what I just said? Give her some milk!" he laughed. "Just be careful because it's definitely contagious and we don't want you or the kits to catch it." he warned. Hawkfeather picked up Honeykit gently by the scruff and pushed her over to Featherflight's warm belly. "Drink up." he purred, padding out of the den. "Wait- Dewpetal. Did you want to come with Flamecloud to gather up some catmint in the twoleg gardens? If not, I could find some other cat to come along with her. Or I could....." he mewed.

{For window pane.}

Honey curled up next to the queen. "T-thank you..." she said and started to suckle.

Lionfur stayed out of the argument, his tail flicking over his paws. He watched silently until it ended, feeling a little awkward the whole time.

"Of course." I purred to the kit. I licked her head softly.

Fernpaw

I poked my head into the nursery. Featherflight wasn't in there. I wanted to check on her. Then I heard her voice from the medicine den. I looked in and saw her with another kit. Huh.

Honey sighed and curled into q ball.

I gently curled my tail around the little kit.

Fernpaw

I poked my head in the den, looking at the kit. "Who's she?"

Honey perked her ears. "I am Honey!" She mewed.

Fernpaw

I smiled. "I'm Fernpaw. Where are you from?"

Honey blinked. "I forgot..." she said. "I have a small short term memory loss..." she answered.
