Shadestar managed to dig up about 42 rushes and 2 reads. He found himself wondering how Breezefrost was getting on mothering Lionkit. He took the reads back to camp and looked at Foxcloud and his pile. "I think we're done! I wonder how everyone else is getting on?" e asked his partner.

(Not mothering. She just found the kit and brought him back to camp. He is still nursing and she cant do anything about it because she's never even had a mate let alone kits. She is more of an older sister lol)

ok. I have an idea... med cats can get herbs to sort of make a cat produce milk, Breezefrost could take that as Lionkit does need a mother.

Dappleleaf poked her head into the med-cat den. She looked at the three cats staying there. Moonfur and Silverstrike, the yet to come mothers, and Lionkit, the orphaned kit. Dappleleaf looked at him in consern, then to his sort of foster mother, Breezefrost. "We need to get him drinking milk. Do you think it wise to wait until our mother's here are producing milk or do you want to take a herb that helps you produce milk?" she asked.

It doesn't work that way. She can't just produce milk. Medicine cats can only give queens herbs to increase milk flow and nutrients and etc.}
