Moonember smiled softly at him. Then, a sound caught his attention, and his eyes flicked towards the tree where the two cats were.

SHadowstep jumped up easily with her powerful back legs.

"Come on," Darkpelt hissed in a whisper, locking eyes with Moonember for a split second before jumping trees.

Shadowstep jumped down and sighed.

Darkpelt wondered why she would jump down, but peered out, like a stalking shadow.

"Stay here," Moonember ordered before stalking towards the tree.

Darkpelt raced back silently, barely a pawstep being heard. Bad place to talk to Shadowstep, he padded back towards camp as fast as he could, secretly hoping she would follow.
