Vapor's eyes didn't move from the papers they were fixed on. "What?" He yelled from across the room. Hearing another pair of footsteps besides Aaron, he turned.

Sadie looked over to where Aaron had just slammed the door open. "Why are you all shouting? None of us are deaf, you know," she said. Loud noises often bothered her, especially when they were unnecessary. Spotting someone behind Aaron, she tilted her head and asked, "Who's that?" She tended to be wary of strangers ever since she'd lost her wings, no matter who they were.

Vapor stood up, giving a glare to Aaron. He noticed the wings on the new guest and eased a little. Quickly, he hid the papers from the file. He didn't want anyone else to know what was on the papers.

Aaron almost winced at the hostility comping off of Vapor. He sent back a look. Cool your jets. She's fine. "Addie, that's Sadie and Vapor," he said, pointing. "Sadie, Vapor- Addie. I would have just let her go, but I figured you'd be none too pleased if I let her fly off with information on our hiding place."

Sadie looked over to the girl, Addie, and gave a small smile. "Hi, Addie," she said, hoping she sounded friendly. New people always made her nervous. On top of that, Addie already seemed to be scared, and Sadie's lack of wings might scare her more.

Vapor nodded his head toward Addie, he gave her a slight smile. "Sorry for my," he paused, "my rudeness. I'm just on my wits end, there's a lot going on right now." He relaxed, not seeing her as a threat and sat back down on the cold floor.

Carter
Carter rolled her eyes. "Would you keep it down I'm trying to sleep," she yelled her voice a bit muffled.

Aaron let out a barely audible breath. So far, so good. No one's tried to kill her yet. He could only hope that that wouldn't change when Jackson and Carter showed up. "Okay. Good. Yeah. There are a couple others around here... somewhere."
When he heard Carter's yell, Aaron rolled his eyes. "And that," he said, gesturing towards the source of the noise, "was Carter. Don't mind her. Or, maybe, do." He made sure his voice was just loud enough that Carter might hear.

"Well at least Carter understands the value of inside voices. I take back my previous statement of none of us being deaf, because I think I might become deaf if you all keep this up," Sadie said.

Carter
Carter sat up, her hair a mess. "Don't make me beat you up," she shouted back. She got out of bed and walked to the group. "Inside voices are very important, especially since I was sleeping."
