Once she had finished gathering up the catmint, she went back to Forbiddensong. Sagepaw scrambled over the fence and leapt down gracefully from the other side. She gently set down the delicate herbs on the forest floor. "Now we just need to gather up some chervil and juniper berries. Then we'll be done and we'll be able to head back to camp." she smiled and picked up the herbs. Sagepaw trotted through the forest happily in search of juniper berries and chervil.

Songpaw felt her mind wandering to Firepaw. NO! She would not think about that wretched tom..Grrr how she liked him. But he wasn't interested in her. She had seen the way he acted around Sagepaw. But she couldn't do anything. She wouldn't tell. Even if it was forbidden.

She padded through the forest. From a distance, she could hear the river babbling and listened intently to the marvelous sound. She soon saw some juniper berries and started picking a few. You never know when a cat might get a bellyache.
