Scott glanced at him, "So many people have told me I was selfish to have you fall in love with me, and even though I was desperately trying not to believe them I've come to the understanding that it was indeed selfish.. And I was wrong to do that..." He explained softly.

Johnny looked over him. "So you're proving them right by believing what they say?" He asked. "You're effectively letting them come between us." He furrowed his eyebrows, looking over him. "Only I can decide what is selfish for me to do, and it wasn't like you forced me to love you."

"But I do, Scott, and what I understand is that you're being unreasonable," Johnny said, voice shaking a little. "So what do you want me to do, leave you and have a 'happy' life, even though I'll be thinking of you every night of every day, wondering what I did wrong for you to want me to hate you? Is that really what you want?"

Scott flinched slightly before shaking his head, "You did nothing wrong Cherub, you could never do anything wrong." He muttered softly, "I don't want you to hate me... And I don't want you to leave me... But I want you to be happy... And I fear I can't make you happy." He said glancing at Johnny with a soft frown.
