she mumbled to her self softly, 'what could it be?' she thought. patchfoot stumbled into blacksky, she looked at the tom softly and mewed,"i am terribly sorry." her eyes met his making her pelt feel hot with embarressment.

The sudden bump made his tail frizz slightly, knowing if it had been anyone else they'd have gotten and ear full. "No worries Patchfoot, I'm sure a cat of your status is too busy to deal with quarrel as it is." Of course her rank was likely the most important, best not to upset the she-cat if possible. "Just be more careful, I suppose." He smiles lightly, wondering if her apprentice was a bit scatterbrained too from work.

Flamestorm looks at Violetblaze before padding up to her, "Hello Violetblaze, how's prey running?" she questions casually.

Might as well hunt he thinks as slows down to taste the air. He scents a black bird nearby before crouching down. He crawls over to it and checks if he is downwind. He waits a few heartbeats before pouncing but he overshot his jump and landing in a bush. Fantastic! he growls mentally as he hopped out of the bush.

She smiled softly and nodded, her tail wrapped around her front paws. Patch foot looked at Blacksky,"Thank you, Blacksky. You are too kind." She began to purr a bit, her eyes widened as she realized she was purring. She looked at her paws hoping he had not noticed her moment of weakness.

"Maybe, but I could never amount the kindness you shed everyday. Medicine cats are so selfless and talented, I admire that and will always try my hardest to return it." He immediately felt like he was rambling, but she always made him nervous, what to say and do was lost somewhere in the back of his mind. Between rank and gender that is, he was far in-superior.

She smiled at Blacksky, and replied softly,"Uh, I was wondering.. If you haven't eaten yet.. Would you want to share a squirrel or something?" Her tummy growled quietly.

Though a simple question, the tom felt a bit conflicted about his answer. Most of the time warriors shared prey with friends and sometimes apprentices, but not often medicine cats. But his stronger voice urged him not to be rude. "Sure, find those herbs you were looking for earlier?" Attempting to bring up small talk as he padded towards the fresh kill pile.
