Venus and Rowanpaw

Venus continued to babble along as the two padded towards her home, though it was more of a small cave at the base of the backside of the Featherclan mountains. "Whats your name?" Venus finally asked. "Rowanpaw." she said dully. "Rowan- paw?" she asked. "Isn't that a training name? forgive me, i do not hear much from the clans." she smiled at the cat who simple nodded. "Rowanpaw. I am an Apprentice." she told the loner who stared blankly. "arn't you a bit old to be an apprenti-" "Medicine cat apprentice." She corrected, and Venus just stopped talking. "you know you killed a badger right?" she asked. The medicine cat in training nodded, and the two walked in silence through the grass and towards the mountainous scenery.
"welcome to my home." Venus finally said when they entered a small and cramped space, defiantly more fit for one cat than two, it was about the size of the prey pile! Though, she could fit two nests in there side by side, but it didn't go much farther back. "You are welcome here for as long as you need Medicine Cat, and any more time after that. Please, be welcome! you saved my life anyways!" Rowanpaw smiled dully, walking outside the den to collect moss for her nest.

This is a Valley of Ashes—a fantastic farm where ashes grow like wheat into ridges and hills and grotesque gardens; where ashes take the forms of houses and chimneys and rising smoke and, finally, with a transcendent effort, of men who move dimly and already crumbling through the powdery air.

Crow looked downwards. "O-o-okay, Brightstar..." She meowed in a mumble-like tone. The she-cat realized why he was protective, but had to think of a way to actually ask about the Clan, and if she could possibly stay.

"Please, leave as soon as possible," Brightstar said, standing to his paws.
