Tekei opened her eyes slightly then rolled over on her back, stretching her paws up into the air as she twisted her body around. enjoying the warm sun, she purred then rolled over onto her belly. she yawned and looked around, her ears perked up and she looked around a bit more hastily "Nekka?" she sat up "Nekka where are you?" she bounded around where they where napping, she was looking for her cub. she called louder "Nekka!" her tail flicked to-and-fro nervously.

Nekka leaped and bounded further and further away from pride rock, she stumbled down some rocks but giggled and got back up. as she trotted she thought she heard someone speaking, she tilted her head and tried to be cautious about sneaking up on whom ever it was. now she heard two voice talking, she could not place the voices but she did not know if they were from pride rock and would take her back home if she was spotted. but her curiosity was getting the best of her and she HAD to know who was talking.

Ruku yawned and looked over at her sister who was yelling and making quite the racket. she sighed and rolled her eyes "Tekei, calm down... geeze..." she stood and stretched out her front paws "honestly your acting like she's never went off to play before..." she paused as she stretched out her back legs "don't ruffle your fur, i'll go get her." she leaped down off her rock and began her way down pride rock, she paused once more and turned her head to look back at her sister "stay here and calm down, she might just come back before i get back." and she turned her head back, to face forward, and continued on her way.

Zara blew out air but got up and padded to the other side of the clearing. Crouching she lowered herself under the long grass and began to move forward, she checked her speed and where her feet went as she slowly made her way to Rhamses. As she got closer she began to breath deeper, calmer breaths before soon he pounced, grabbing Rhamses tail beneath her paws.

"Better" I say simply, flicking my tail back and forth until she let go. "That's enough hunting for now, practice it and we will start with fighting once you're a bit older. Then you'll be ready." My eyes flash as I think over the plan again.

Zara nodded. She stood up her head high with pride, glad that she was able to show him something she was good at. She supressed a gulp as she thought of fighting, but she thought of the hyenas attacking her father as he protected her and it stopped in her throat. Her eyes flashed with determination as she nodded. "Ready for what?" she asked.

"Nothing much, playing a key role in getting revenge." Ramses replied, standing up and shaking out his pelt. "It's not that hard of a job. While you're a cub, the pridelanders can't lay a claw on you."

Zara was going to ask what kind of revenge, but she knew that she was lucky to be here. She could have been killed in the Outlands but thanks to this male she wasn't. She owed him and for that she would learn. "Just tell me what to learn." she replied.

"Well, since youre going to play spy a few times, the basic thing you need to need is how to move completely soundlessly. Its not like hunting, the royals and any other lion have better hearing and will know when being followed. That is, unless you know how to follow. The smallest noise, a too sharp intake of breath, your tail brushing against grass, all of those things can be heard clearly." Ramses replied, his eyes curious to know exactly what this cub already knew and what he yould have to teach her.

Nekka quickly ran as fast as she could and as far as she dared, she paused and looked over into the outlands. she remembered all the stories from her pride about how mean the outlanders where, and took a step back. she gulped and shook her head "I'm brave, I can do anything!" she tried to calm herself as she turned her head she thought she saw a large black maned lion and a stripped cub. she flicked her tail "there is a cub from our pride with stripes i think... maybe that's them?" she smiled thinking she found a friend at last, she began her way closer but slipped and fell down a hill. she landed with a *plop* and sat, rubbing her paw on her head "ouch!"

Ramses turned his head instantly towards the sound and a smirk crept over his face. "Well look who we have here, trespassing on our territory. You do know that it's forbidden ?" I say, walking up to her, my claws unsheathing. I liked scaring these cubs.

Zara nodded trying to take it all in, she was glad that she at least a year to learn this. After a year she may be old enough to really be of help. She took in a deep breath as a thought hit her, but before she could speak a small cub came tumbling down the small hill with a plop. Cocking her head Zara gave a small growl as she stood. She looked towards Ramses the idea forming even more as she stared at the cub. "Hello," she said happily sending a wink to Ramses, a motion the other cub couldn't see.
