will I grow? :: I've decided that no, Asphyxia will not grow. I think it would be more interesting for her story, as explained below.
why do they cover their splices? :: Mainly it's for her adoptive father's pride. You see, Asphyxia is the heir to the throne of a kingdom far, far away. When she was born, her biological parents reluctantly abandoned her at the doorstep of the Xenodalian Kingdom, with a note that basically said they couldn't care for her, and that she would surely die if she was to stay in their care. The king - King Shiga - took her in happily as his daughter, as they could not seem to have children of their own. But, as time wore on, her "disability", as Shiga called it, was becoming increasingly noticeable. Fearing that his people would immediately reject their soon-to-be queen, Shiga forced his adopted daughter to cover her splices, causing the poor girl to believe that appearance was everything. Now, this has completely corrupted her mind - she believes that looks are what matters most, and will do anything to keep her kingdom beautiful.

-Locke was horrified and viewed her as a monster; Asphyxia was confused and upset as to why he called her a murderer when she did all this for her people
-Locke left the kingdom shortly after this, leaving Asphyxia with her terrified civilians
-Asphyxia dubbed herself king, but the royal adviser, whom she had lovingly referred to as Sir, told her she could not be king until she was of age
-Asphyxia waited until she was an adult; never became an adult, as she soon found she has a genetic disorder that stripped away her ability to age
-Basically went completely insane trying to make her people happy and become their ruler, so she pretty much took over as a dictator
-Due to her adoptive father's constant reminder to remain attractive, believes that her kingdom must stay beautiful, and that beauty is everything
-Commonly executes those who are either going against her word or trying to stand out from her definition of "beautiful"
-Is constantly being targeted by Snake, an assassin sent to kill her by an unknown source (suspected to be Locke, but is never confirmed)
