Need help. Syrian help.
Bumble is in a zoo zone 2 with a load of toys, scattered food, tubes you name it. Suitable wheel and at least 10 chew toys and a bedding ball (hay ball with toilet paper and hay). And yet every single night he chews his water bottle spout. Every. Single. Night. It is a perfectly fine working bottle that gives out water but Bumble just chews it.

Hamsters gonna hamster. Java does the same thing. It's for attention mostly, give him plenty of time to roam about and change up his set up every so often to give him something new to explore and distract. I threw a cardboard box in a few weeks ago and she spent a good few nights playing with it.

I am looking for a solution to leaking water bottles. I have tried pretty much every recommended brand out there. Plastic, glass, you name it Ive tried it. No matter what claims it makes about not leaking I follow the instructions or try my own intuition but it leaks EVERY time. It makes my guinea piggies cage a soggy mess that I have to clean often. And with all the stress I'm under right now the constant cleaning makes it worse. Does anyone know of any solutions that have worked for them?
Also, I want to get a ferret but the only points my mom will bring up is there smell. Im not sure how to combat her argument? Any ideas?

Oh gosh, There's no cure for leaky water bottles. I've tried everything, even the kind you fill from the top, and it just always leaks no matter what. Try getting a little pad to put under it, I do that but I still have to swap it out every other day or so

I honestly don't think there's anything you can do

You could put a small bowl or dish under the bottle? To catch any leak? I have also heard that if you fill the bottle, turn it nozzle side up and squeeze it you push all the air out and make a vacuum, then it should only release water when actually used.
Uh....I read about someone who puts a little bit of brick/rock under it that absorbs the water and can't be chewed?
That's all I can think of really.
Having serious issues viewing dark colours at the moment. May delay replys to pms. Sorry.
The Leopard Pups
Grey, Black and White. The world revolves and we go with it. Twisting in this everlasting monotony, eyes of green and gold, watching and waiting for our chance, our time. Cytor, Liliana, Serenade, Bayonet, the Prankster, the sweet one, the mother and the lost soul. There birth was a lost event, one in a million, two wandering souls met in the shadows, and these four were created. There pups are the stuff of legend, one lost there sight, one lost there path, one lost there love and the other? The other lost his family, everyone they cared about. He lost his family.

I'll do a proper reply tomorrow, when I'm not half asleep.
If a water bottle spout is leaking, it's broke. Get a new one.
Ferrets are seriously hard work, especially single ones, and not a pet to be taken on lightly. It's like having a naughty toddler/puppy, 24/7. They need tons of attetion/stimulation,
And they aren't the cheapest of animals either.
