This will be posted on both the W.o.I form based on CS, and under the News&Updates section on the website.
There has been a reoccurring issue lately, names will not be given out, but this has occurred several times and it is going to be corrected.
On several occasions, users have used the chat to talk about others and complained about issues they see in the community. While it is your right to talk about these problems, it is UNACCEPTABLE to talk about other users. No who, if, or what about it.
This also goes for other species, the W.o.I chat is not a place to bash anyone or anything.
However, the W.o.I chat(and W.o.I in general really) IS a place where everyone should be able to indulge in what they feel like, chat away, rp, and be able to express themselves, as long as it is not done so disrespectfully.
So, there are going to be a few rules put down to tackle this, and we're going to crack down on them.
- NO negative chatter about other species/organizations/etc on the W.o.I forum (or chat) PERIOD.
You are still allowed to talk about them/RP them and whatnot, but as SOON as the conversation gets sour, the offender(s) will be issued a warning.
- NO negative talk about other users.
This should be common sense, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Offenders will be given a warning/strike based on how severe the offense.
- If you have a problem, PM one of the Main Moderators about it so we can find a way to fix it!
As of now, because of the issue at hand, problems are not to be spoken of in the chat. It is a very indirect and unsure way to fix them. For the time being, these issues are to be directed to myself or Sewell. We want to do our best to make things better, but if you do not tell us what the problem is we cannot fix it.
We reserve the right to add rules as we see fit, and issue punishment accordingly based on how severe the offense is.
At the time of this posting, we reserve the right to issue punishment to any offender no matter when the offense was made.
If we see it on the chat/website, it is going to be addressed.
