How to make a Silouette on Photoshop

Step 1: Open up a transparent file.

Step 2: Duplicate layer

Step 3: Highlight bottom layer and make that layer larger.

Step 4: With bottom layer selected, go to hue and saturation. Once you have it open, change the lightness to -100 and press ok.

Step 5: Go back into your hue and saturation, then click colourize, and then change the settings to a colour you see fit.
Note: You will need to brighten the lighting back up.

If you want to do more layers, all you need to do is duplicate a layer and repeat the process c:

i want this to neatly be beside the picture that you can see in my signature right now, but i resized it to the maximum but it would fit nicely with the pic at all, help?

basically only a few things were in brackets so i put everything in left brackets
also, the text 'don't care about it' is a bit large so it will push the text slightly to the right

Can anyone help me add a text box & quote to my sig? I'm a little stuck on how to insert it in the middle (Okay maybe a lot stuck). This my personal sig btw if that helps or anything.
