I can imagine the shock - maybe fright - on whoever's around the campfire when Shyly tells a story, like "The creature hissed in delight as it leaped off the ground, wings flapping, closing in on the poor, innocent villager..." Then someone with wings (Maybe Skyler? I don't know... Plus, my describing skills aren't that good, but who cares.) suddenly flies over and mimics the 'creature'.... Ha.
