Darkwing watched as the badger sunk several needle-sharp claws into Iceleap's shoulder. He dove to defend her, but the creature snarled furiously and smacked him across the face, sending Darkwing to the ground. The warrior cat moaned in pain, but forced himself to his feet again. Red had stained the white patches of his fur and was continuing to stream, but he forced himself in front of Iceleap so the Badger released her. Thankfully Mistystar was working her magic above them, and it was obvious the badger was starting to weaken. It snarled again and moved wildly as it tried to fend off its attackers, but whatever Mistystar had done to its neck seemed to have done the trick. It groaned, grew limp, then collapsed.

[storm coming.]

Iceleap strolled towards the badger. She bit it in the neck, just to make sure it was dead. "Thank you Darkwing." she blushed at her crush.

She dropped off the badger it's blood seeping from her jaws, she panted "is anyone severely injured?" she asked the warriors.

Iceleap looked at her shoulder. "My scar was bitten. But it's just bleeding." she insisted on letting her clan mates being treated to first.

"lets all get back to camp" she meowed to them and started to pad back 'glad none of them are badly hurt.. worse, killed' she thought.

The stared at the badger, hardly daring to believe they'd actually managed to kill the thing. Iceleap gave it another go just to be sure the thing wasn't going to get back up, and when it didn't so much as twitch, the warrior sighed in relief. "No problem. I'm just glad everyone's safe." The wound on his side was throbbing painfully, and he winced as he stepped closer to his friends. "And it's dead. Thank goodne-" He groaned and collapsed as the pain became too much and his legs gave out. Dust covered the gushing wound, and Darkwing closed his eyes tightly. Get up. Get up. He forced his legs under him and shakily got to his feet, but soon fell again. "Ughhh." He sighed softly.

Iceleap ventured towards Darkwing. "Are you okay?" she asked him with worry.

"He needs to get to the medicine den" she meowed padding over, she helped him up and gave him support to walk back to camp.

He looked up towards Iceleap, nodding his head a little. "Yeah, I'm okay Iceleap. Don't worry. I'm just a bit tired from the fight, that's all." Darkwing mumbled, shakily getting to his feet again. They wobbled as he took a few steps to follow the other warriors back to camp, but the red continued flowing and he hadn't taken but a few steps before his head swirled sickeningly and he fell to the forest floor again. Mistystar wandered over and helped him up, and he leaned heavily against her side. "Let's . . . get going." He rasped. "I'm okay, we just need to go."
