Stormjaw followed. "Well...". He said.

"Move!" Darkwing dove out of the way as a large badger appeared from behind him and swept one heavy paw directly where his head had been just seconds ago. Darkwing looked towards his friends with concern. The badger was getting itself ready now. It growled as it scented new prey - several warriors would certainly make a good meal - and readied itself to attack the band of cats. "Stormjaw, Mistystar, watch out!"

Blindsong brightened a little when Oakleaf agreed to come along, and she actually lifted her head for a moment. "Oh, wonderful! Yes yes, bring your apprentice along. He needs practice anyway." She realized her scar was showing, and the she-cat immediately lowered her head again and cleared her throat in embarrassment. Perhaps she should try harder to hide her enthusiasm. "Come on then, I guess." She gestured for Featherflight to come.

Iceleap
She awoke in her mossy nest. Iceleap glanced at her ruffled pelt and groomed it with soft strokes. Once she had finished, Iceleap padded into the clearing. She had no apprentice, so she decided to talk to someone.

He had been awake, grooming his russet colored fur. Grudgingly, he sat up. "Hey, Iceleap." he mewed to the she cat before she padded out of the warriors den.

She was busy in the medicine cat den sorting through herbs and seeing which ones they needed more of. "Coalpaw!" she called. "Are you up to gathering some marigold, cobweb, and juniper berries?" she asked.

Oakleaf
He was by the fresh kill pile chewing on a squirrel. Fish were his favorite, but sadly there were none on the fresh kill pile. He savored the taste.

He slept in the warriors den peacefully. I guess you could say he's not a morning cat. Most of the Clan cats were already up while this warrior wasn't. Hawkfeather dreamed off catching a nice plump mouse.

Stormjaw froze as the badger hit his head. "Ohhhh....." he groaned falling over.

Runningblade ran to help her brother.

"NO CREATURE TOUCHES MY DEPUTY!" she yowled and leapt at the badger raking her claws across it's face.

Stormjaw was knocked to the ground, and Darkwing immediately dove to protect the fallen warrior cat. He stepped in front of him, then clawed the badger's legs when it got too close. Mistystar was practically on top of the animal as she raged about, but Darkwing was there with her. He clawed and scratch, yowling loudly when the animal managed to dig one giant claw into his side. Red seeped into his gray and white fur, but Darkwing forced himself to his feet and dove into battle again. The badger was after Mistystar and Stormjaw again.

She attached to the badger's neck and bit furiously at it's neck, she would die before it would get to her clan mates.
