Since it seems yall are thinking about changing the lines anyways, I would like to follow up Pumpkaboo's request by saying it would be awesome if PTPs could be made with more line edits, to make each one more unique, sort of like Iquenas. Just an idea but I think it would be really cool c:

gonna have to agree , as it makes the species much more unique! Like I loved the dangerous PTP theme that you guys did for a little event last year! Coolest line edits, and made a lot of people want to enter-
not all of them HAVE to be very rare, just small line-edits would make them unique c;

I think changing them to the Oekaki is a good idea, as long as it's no strain on the artists c:
It would allow for more official/guest artists to be recruited, seeing as they wouldn't need a program to color in the lines!

I might consider something like this, I just worry that not all artists would be comfortable doing line edits on every single ptp, or that they might not have time ;v; But I'll definitely consider maybe doing some premade edits if we do switch them to the oekaki, or something like that?


Moving them to oekaki definitely isn't set in stone but I've been considering that it could flow smoother if they were, so I wanted to see what you guys thought to help make the decision and stuff! ;v;

yeah,I could agree with that.Not all artists do want to do a bunch of line edits, but you could do a few pre-made ones c;
but I really don't know if I like the "switching to oekaki." thing
as I really like that they are just the snake, and not extra things ex.background, and things that can't be cut out, so you only have the picture

Yeah, I gotcha! Transparent versions aren't terribly hard to make though! The artist would just need to make a new version with no background which could be changed to png~

ahh idk i can't really make ptps rn anyways bc of how java isn't working with chrome anymore
i'm trying to work that out and stuff and i'll probably make them again by summer i guess??? cause then i'll have time to work that stuff out... but anyways, i like ptps how they are, personally... as for line edits and all that. it just seems like a special thing to do sometimes, i guess, but just having them all the time might make it not-so-special or something.

You're not alone, java has been crapping out for me too! I had to update it and mess with it a bunch to post the most recent ptp v_v

but yeah, that's also a good point, that having the majority without edits makes the ones with edits more special o:
