Ivypaw

I jumped out of my nest and bounded cheerfully out of the den. I was ready to start the day. Yep. Even if that meant collecting moss or checking the elders for ticks. Unlike many apprentices, I understood the importance of things like that. Not that I wanted to seem superior or anything. I grabbed a small mouse of the pile and gulped it down.

Featherflight

I groaned when I woke up. It seemed like I was always tired these days. Lifting my head, I glanced out at the camp. Cats were starting to get up and eat, start organizing patrols. I felt a pang in my chest. Once, organizing patrols had been my job. Then I'd left it to bear the kits of someone who screamed that he would kill the kits the instant they were born. I buried my face in my nest.

she padded out of the leaders den and stretched she looked around as the clan grew awake.

Blindsong
Moving quickly away from the kill pile, Blindsong began to make her way towards the queen's dens. They didn't have many mother cats and Blindsong herself had never born any children despite her older age, but she felt at home there. "Featherflight," The she-cat purred, flicking her tail as she stood outside her friend's resting place. "The sun granted us it's rays hours ago. It's about time you do the same. Come now, you aren't old enough to sleep all day yet."

Darkwing
"It's about time you woke up, Mistystar." Darkwing's taunting voice drifted from his place in the thicket of bushes. He'd been paying more attention to the rest of the clan's activities, but had happened to see the leader lazily creep from her den. "At this rate, you're going to be joining the elders in their den. They're the ones who sleep all day, don't you know." His gray eyes were humorous and he flicked his tail back and forth in amusement.

Oakleaf
He swallowed a bite of Fresh kill. "Hey, Darkpaw." the warrior greeted him. "How are you?" Oakleaf asked with a polite smile.

"You should have more respect to your leader Darkwing" she snapped flicking her tail, she hadn't got much sleep that night because of her thoughts of how she was supposed to manage everything going on in the clan.

I raised mu head slightly. If it had been any other cat, I would have growled at them to go away. "Blindsong..." I mumbled. "What do you expect me to do? Go hunting? How about lead a border patrol? Maybe I could train some apprentices in fighting?" My tone had gradually gained momentum until it was normal tones.

Darkwing
Yes, he knew that he should have more respect for the cat who ran the clan, but to be perfectly honest, Darkwing just couldn't help himself. He was use to Mistystar's (interesting?) personality, and although she was extremely snappish and was about as humorous as a fox attack, Darkwing couldn't help but tease her anyways. "Oh dear, seems someone's a bit testy this morning." He purred in reply, stepping out of the bushes with a grin on his face. "Feeling a bit overwhelmed? If it makes you feel better, I didn't see anything out of the ordinary on my morning patrol. But I can check again, Dear, if you'd like."

Blindsong
Blindsong smiled a little as her friend's tired voice echoed from the den. She'd always had a soft spot for Featherflight, and although they were both rather sensitive cats, they seemed to fit well together. "I was actually going to go down to the river to go fishing. The sun is shining down on the waters, and you can bring a few of the apprentices along if you'd like." Honestly Blindsong just wanted to go somewhere where she wouldn't have to feel self-conscious about her appearance, if only for a few minutes. "And maybe we can get Oakleaf to come along."

"How about just us go down? I could use some time doing somethimg with my muscles besides walking." I purr. I heave myself to my feet. "Although... yeah, we could ask Oakleaf. After all, he does like fish." I walk out of the den, blinking to adjust my eyes to the light.
