Orrick Kaleinik || male || heterflexible biromantic || archaeologist || 31 (subject to change)|| single

He's somewhat of a shy guy, and typically feels uneasy in most social settings (unless it's some banquet-like thing involving archaeology or science). Even though he's shy, Orrick is very goofy and happy, and he's always charming and clever, even in situations that make him uncomfortable. He's dorky, as is evident by his scientific and comic book knowledge, and he's very tolerant and competitive. Orrick tends to get easily excited about things that he likes, such as bones/archaeology, and he's typically amusing. He can also be impatient, overly opinionated and absent-minded. He might sound pretty swell, and he is pretty swell in a professional setting, but he can also be not so great. Orrick has a dry, sarcastic humor that can be very cutting, and he can be quite grumpy at times. This is normally only an issue if you see him very often, or when he's had a bad day/hasn't had his coffee yet. Once he knows you on a personal level he is very snarky, but in a good-natured manner if that makes sense.

She's a very sweet, happy and creative plumerian, but she's debilitatingly shy. Amitola is also insanely clumsy, which causes her a lot of embarrassment, and tends to be trouble since she's also very restless. She is optimistic, but also stubborn and impatient. Once she befriends you, Ami is very talkative and goofy, and loves to sing, dance and talk in different accents. It doesn't take a lot to make/keep her satisfied, but she is easily bored and forgetful. Though she is very shy and most people wouldn't expect it, Amitola loves kickboxing, and she is very capable of kicking someone's butt (and has in the past). She is currently apprenticing under a tattoo artist and going to art school while she works as a barista/waitress at a coffe shop called Corner Cafe. She also makes comic books in her spare time.

I really want that sort of playful, mean relationship that makes people go "aww bruh that's too cute," but then we're so like snarky towards each other that sometimes people are like "woa do they hate each other what is going on here"?
Amitola: a really tall someone (gender doesn't matter tbh, I just want them to be taller than me) who's outgoing and silly and encourages me to be more outgoing, too. they'd have to be much more patient than I am, though, and be okay with my painstaking shyness. plus they need to be into things like comics and just be really supportive of me. but they can't be too nice. someone who's also active would be cool, since I like kickboxing a lot.

Orrick: probably, but like that ultimate best friend that you're close enough to to be really mean towards a lot of the time.

Orrick: uh idk I'm really into the outdoors and traveling, so maybe just traveling together and sharing that experience. maybe making scrapbooks of our travels idk? or like anything competitive really? or maaaaybe cuddling.

Amitola: I went to a banquet the Smithsonian was having in Orrick's honor after he discovered an ancient plumerian civilization!! it was so interesting!! my date sucked though.
