Hollowkit tumbled into the nursery but before she ate the mouse, she popped her head out to look at Bluefeather. With a frown, she returned and sat down, "She was disturbed. was it something I said? I really did see a crow. And it saw me too. The noise it made was awful but nobody else heard it." She looked down at the mouse and took a tentative bite only to spit it out again, "Eveything tastes sour still..."

Spottedkit batted the moss ball at the other kits when she began coughing, her throat sore. At the others' worried expressions, she said "I'm fine..." and quickly had another brief coughing spell. She had no idea what was going on, as she had never been sick before. Nevertheless, she continued playing with the others.
