      i added cs to the exceptions list, (as well as all of the boards). i also already had my chibipaint up to version 2.0 yet it still won't work? i directly copied the cs link from the post with the backslashes and all, so i'm kind of confused.

Have you guys added the slash at the end? The "/" is very important, even the Java website says you need it for it to work.

Hmm, maybe you need to reboot your computer/clear your browser history. I don't know, but I don't think waiting does anything on older computers (I use windows 8)

I heard that recently (I think?) a fake Java update was released by Google on CS. I'm not sure if I downloaded it, though. I have the recent version of real Java and on Oekaki it says "this application is blocked by Java! Reason: invalid or out-of-date (something like that)" and I don't know whether a new Java came out or if I downloaded the fake one.

I have Java version 8, update 45.
I have Norton
And Glary Utilities.
I scanned with both Norton and Glary and it says I didn't pick up a virus (or malware). What's up?

(I use Firefox, Windows 7)
this is a WIP but y'know what can i say

To people above having issues, when you whitelist a site, you will need to restart your browser - simply close out of it, wait a few moments, and launch it like normal. You can also try restarting your computer, I know sometimes when I make changes to my FireFox or Java I need to do a reboot simply because FireFox or Java still has instances running that are hung up.

I haven't heard of this, but I can assure you Google isn't giving anyone any viruses. Google has an ad service called Google AdSense which is widely used. Like any ad service, rogue ads will get by. Rogue ads are nasty third party ads that cause the trouble, but Google is usually good about removing them once reported.

Please go here:
https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
And verify you have no instances of older Java versions.

Ugh, I've tried multiple of the fixes here and still cannot get it to work. But I have found it is any Java using applet thing that crashes my Browsers when I try to let Java run. I am using windows 7, and I am using firefox. Pretty sure I have the newest version of the Java 7 because my Internet wont run with Java 8. I really dont know why but it crashes when I try to use it. But I feel My problem is more a java problem. I'm not sure it could be helped here.. but Idk.

Alright, I tried EVERYTHING. Reinstalling Java, restarting my browsers, restarting my computer, even this (after a load of loud cursing and begging of Windows 8 to show me the way):

And still, I get this error message:

I'm really not sure what I'm messing up, could someone please help me out a little and give some advice on what else I can do?

LadyAlpha: In the exception list, you left out the "www." part of the URL. Put it in, that should fix it, just reboot your browser once you've fixed that and it'll hopefully work. ^^;

It needs to be:
Code: Select all
http://www.chickensmoothie.com/

^^;
