Some of my Eurovision headcanons:
(some of these imply particular pairings because those are the pairings my sister and I use in our version of Hetalia, so I'm sorry if you don't ship them ^^)

-Denmark almost always makes cheerful love songs because he wants to make Norway smile. Except he can't see whether or not Norway is smiling while he is performing, because the light shines in his face.

-Poland, who almost always makes lighthearted songs, decided this year to make a serious song to comfort Lithuania (and maybe also to comfort himself since he's been through a lot).

-If you listen to the song "Work your magic" (Belarus's Eurovision entry in 2007), you can easily imagine Belarus singing this to Russia.

-And then there is this… The one time Germany let PRUSSIA into Eurovision instead of himself. Gilbert hat euch lieb. Skip to 1.20 and 2.40 if you don't want to hear the whole song.
