Ramses:
I nod slightly, giving her the permission to eat the antelope, "Go ahead, but next time I'm going to give you some proper training and you're going to help with the hunt." I say, laying down outside of the cave, the warm sun shining on my cream pelt that seemed golden in the light. It was the first time in weeks that the weather was nice out here and the usually gloomy and dark outlands finally seemed like a place for animals and not just dead trees and bones.

Zara smiled before digging into the antelope, she was small so she didn't eat much before she was full. Backing away she made her way towards the wall of the cave so Ramses could eat. "I can't wait!" she replied to the training comment, her energy increasing ten fold at the thought of learning to hunt.

Ramses:
I stand up and head towards the antelope. "Lesson one, always keep a lookout. Out here, you never know who might try to wreck your hunt. This is not the sunny pridelands." I say, laying down beside the antelope and taking a few bites.

Zara stood up taller and kept her head high, her eyes set on the exit of the cave just in case. "Check." she replied her eyes hardening with determination.

Ramses:
I took another bite and swallowed before speaking again, "Lesson two, never give up a chance to hunt. You never know when the herds might disappear completely from the outlands for weeks, and that kind of time is better on a full stomach."

Zara's eye zipped to Ramses before she nodded, padding to the opening of the cave to sit. She watched the vacant grasses blow in the wind and she sighed. "Got it." she replied. "Hunt when you can, always keep an eye out..."

Ramses:
I stand up, leaving half of the antelope uneaten. "Come on" I say, walking out of the cave and headed through the outlands.

Zara raised an eye as he suddenly stood up. "Oh... ok." she responded jumping up to catch up with the much larger male.

Ramses:
It didn't take long before we reached a small clearing. It wasn't much, but the grass here is healthier than in most of the outlands. "Show me what you know about hunting." I say, sitting down at the edge of the clearing.
