Snowpaw wondered if perhaps she shouldn't have let Littlepaw do the talking. Either way, this was Littlepaw's idea so if they got in trouble it was her to blame. "I think your personalities are just rubbing each others fur the wrong way." Truthfully it was just Poppypaw who seemed to have gotten her tail in a knot. 'But it's best not to single her out.' Snowpaw thought. "The only thing Littlepaw's done different than me is talking more."

More than anything, Foxpaw had found the entire ordeal rather amusing. It was obvious to any cat with brains that these two Marshclan apprentices meant no harm They were merely curious about the strange new cat's the moved in next to them. However, they were in his territory and as much he would let that slide, he knew that the warrior code was not to be taken lightly. All the same, he thought that his friend Poppypaw was taking this a bit too far. He was sure they could just send them back to there territories with stern words. He finally coughed slightly and stepped up for the first time, "So tell me, we both know that you two didn't accidentally wander towards our territory. So am I correct to assume that you only wish to satisfy your curiosity? If so, let me tell you that we are nothing special. In fact, I ought to be more curious of you two."

He padded up close to the pure white one who had been the quiet one like him and then proceeded to circle around the two of them thoughtfully. They didn't seem to have any specific traits to them that made them purely Marshclan cats but maybe he just hadn't seen enough of them to tell. This was just how Foxpaw was. He preferred to look at things from a purely academic viewpoint even if there was nothing apparent to be learned. But that's just the thing. There was always something that itched to be discovered no matter how hard it tried to hide. But alas, he couldn't find anything just yet so he wandered back over to Poppypaw and flicked her with his tail, "Come on, there's nothing special about these apprentices. We're simply wasting our time here. Let them goo back or don't. Either way, I'm happy to just observe."

Poppypaw hesitated, then sighed," I guess if they aren't harming the clan... But shouldn't someone make sure they go back to their own clan?" She let out an exasperated groan. She looked like an uptight idiot! This was why cats didn't hang out with her! She was way too tight! She gave a soft glance to the apprentices," Never mind... Just go...." She padded out of their sight and climbed into a tree, jumping from limb to limb before curling up on the top branch.

Foxpaw opened his mouth and closed it again when his friend walked off and he was left with the two other apprentice's. "Er, I should probably see if I've upset her somehow. I do tend to do that a lot. Honestly, I do not care what you do from here on. Whether you stay or leave is up to you but I would suggest the latter in case you run into any of our more aggressive mates. Farewell." He dipped his head politely and turned to follow after Poppypaw with a hard stare. It was probably something he'd said that set her off. He did tend to have that affect on other cats even when he wasn't trying to sound like a know-it-all, he just did.

The apprentice ripped up the tree trunk like a shadow until he was as far up as he was comfortable going. As a cat that used his brain rather than his instincts, he was not fond of putting himself in avoidable risks. Also, he wasn't that great of a climber... or a fighter...... or ... a hunter. The only thing he had going for him was wit. He could see Poppypaw a couple branches above him and he called up to her, "Um, sorry to be a pain, but are you alright? You left in a hurry back there and I quite say that you looked rather flustered upon your withdrawal."

Snowpaw stared bewildered as the other silent apprentice spoke up and circled them. Poppypaw had seemed to finally realize how senseless this little spat was and walked off after telling them to go and the other apprentice soon followed. "Well that was... interesting." she spoke to Littlepaw, whiskers twitching. "We should probably get back. With our luck we'll probably run into their leader next." Snowpaw couldn't believe how quickly they had been discovered. Or maybe MarshClan was just bad at guarding borders.... Yeah that was probably it.

Poppypaw narrowed her eyes," What do you want," she sniffed," You didn't do anything! I did!" She started to climb up a bit more. She was now on a weaker branch, that wobbled when she walked on it.
