Glory Days // Major || Tagged;; El Dorado, Namjoon, Jinki, Sungkyu

He heard Dane run into the barn, and pulled his nose away from the other human. Listening carefully to where Dane was going, he heard the sounds of food and trotted over to go find it. In his haste, he accidentally knocked against El Dorado. Ears back, he muttered an embarrassed apology.

He finished feeding the horses then turned back to Jinki.
"Yeah, I'll come!" he told him, clearing the feeding supplies away. "Let me go and grab Mikage real quick, I'll catch up with you." Walking to the other end of the barn, he found Mikage and Amadeus together. Gently, he put on Mikage's halter and attached the lead, then led her out of the barn and towards the others.

She said goodbye to Amadeus, then obediently followed her rider. I wonder where we're going...? she thought to herself, then saw other riders and horses waiting at the barn entrance. She relaxed, realizing they must be going on a ride.
"Hello, you two." she greeted El Dorado and Namjoon.

Love's Little Fool// Valentine | Stallion | Tag; Clarissa, Justin
The young stallion was loaded into a trailer, making his way toward a new barn. He was never a fan of the tight space inside the trailer, but he was given a few oats which made him feel a tiny bit better. His new humans seemed nice enough, although he liked the male a little better than the female- probably because he seemed a bit nicer than the girl. He hoped the male would be the one training him, but based on the interaction he'd had with them earlier made him doubt that. He sighed and shifted his weight as he tried to get comfortable. Hopefully they'd arrive at their destination soon.

She sat in the driver's seat of the family's white pickup as she drove her brother and their new horse to Running Bear Equestrian Center. She was a bit nervous, as it had been a while since they'd had a horse of their own. She took a deep breath and glanced over at her brother, who was reading a sports magazine. "Are you sure you're alright with moving out here? I thought you wanted to continue with your sports and such..." she said, pretending to know what type of things her brother filled his time with although they both knew she didn't have any idea what she was talking about.

He nodded, not bothering to look up from his hockey magazine. "I already told you I'm fine, Clary. I want to learn about horses too," he said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. He wasn't exactly thrilled to be moving out to the middle of nowhere and be homeschooled so they could learn more about horses- especially since he wouldn't be able to see his friend's very often. He sighed slightly as they pulled into the drive of the Equestrian Center, and when his sister stopped the car, he heard the horse whinny from the trailer and he hopped out to check out the new place, leaving his sister to unload the horse by herself. He blinked and looked around to see if anyone else was around.

Jinki Min|Age: 17|At - Outside Kodiak Barn|With - El Dorado, Namjoon, Mikage, Sungkyu & Dane
Jinki nodded to Dane's remark and then led El Dorado out of the barn with Sungkyu and Namjoon right behind him. They stopped outside and tied up their horses to saddle. Jinki made sure his El Dorado had enough rope so he could eat, and that it was tied so he could released the young horse quickly if needed.
Because of El Dorado's young age, Jinki still had a lot of problems with him getting spooked at everything and had a problem saddling the horse as well. He hoped today would be an easy day, and that he could stay on the horse. He looked up at Dane and Mikage as they appeared outside the barn.

Sungkyu Lee|Age: 19|At - Outside Kodiak Barn|With - El Dorado, Namjoon, Mikage, Jinki & Dane
Sungkyu followed Jinki and El Dorado out of the barn, he was walking right beside his larger stallion. He tied the horse up next to El Dorado, leaving just a little more rope free to accommodate for the black overo stallion's height. Sungkyu looked at his stallion's back and looked at Jinki, "Can't we just go bare back?"
He saw his friend's eyes widen as he shook his head furiously. "Not with how young these two are, do you really want to eat dirt?" His friend said to him in a haste. Sungkyu shrugged and pat Namjoon's shoulder and ran his hand down the horse's leg. "If you say so." Sungkyu shook his head at his friend's worry and was about to head back into the barn to get Namjoon's tack when Dane and Mikage appeared. "You'd ride a younger horse bare back, wouldn't you?" He asked the younger male in attempts to show Jinki that he wasn't the only one.

El Dorado|Age: 2 Years|At - Outside Kodiak Barn|With - Namjoon, Mikage, Jinki, Sungkyu & Dane
El Dorado told Major it was alright just as his rider made a clucking nose to make him follow. El Dorado turned away from the blind stallion as he walked away and followed Jinki outside. When his rider tied him up and shifted his feet restlessly, he didn't really like being tied up. He relaxed a little though as Sungkyu tied Namjoon up next to him.
With his muscles more relaxed, the liver chestnut stallion bent his head to nibble on a little grass. His attention, however, was taken away from the grass as Mikage and Dane appeared outside the barn. "Hi, Mikage! It's a nice day for a trail ride, dontcha think?"

Namjoon|Age: 2 Years|At - Outside Kodiak Barn|With - El Dorado, Mikage, Jinki, Sungkyu & Dane
Namjoon quietly followed Sungkyu outside and didn't make a fuss as he was tied up next to El Dorado. Instead the stallion bent his head down right away and started to eat the grass below his hooves. He could feel the hand of his rider on his shoulder and smiled as he heard the discussion of bareback riding. It would be a chance to prove to himself and the others that he was perfectly mature for his young age.
Namjoon lifted his head as Mikage spoke, he offered her a smile, "Don't listen to El Dorado, he's gone crazy. He obviously can't tell the weather is not perfect." Namjoon laughed as he heard his friend huff up, "Just kidding." He put his head back down to eat more grass as he listened silently for more conversation.

Devon(f) in the forest with Rev
Devon nodded quickly as she did her best to avoid Kasai's cool gaze, she wasn't about to start getting technical with the other girl by explaining that she hadn't really planned on the boldness of Rev. She clumsily caught the halter before watching Kasai ride away with perfect ease on her horse that didn't seemed fazed to be ridden completely free. She breathed deeply a couple times before turning to Rev, who was now being unusually willing to letting Devon do what he wanted, the fact that Rev could become a trickster suddenly had changed her from thinking he was a cute prankster into a serious problem horse. It felt almost too easy to get Shady's halter onto the colt, Devon shakily slipped the strap through the buckle, waiting for Rev to do something, anything to prove he was more difficult than he was being now. Rev had proven how scary it is when you're riding a horse that won't listen and she didn't like it, she didn't want to be scared of him but how could she go back to trusting that he was harmless when he showed that maybe he wasn't? Devon let out a gasp, her eyes widened with horror as she remembered that she had Lucifer completely free of ropes when she jumped onto Rev's back. Where is my mare now?She thought desperately as she clutched the halter under Rev's chin and began jogging, forgetting her fear of the colt for the time being.

Shady looked at Rev as coolly as Kasai did Devon but Rev wasn't fazed by the look, although seeing how obedient shady was made Rev realize that he was rarely that obedient, even with something a simple as feeding time he could be a pain in the butt. And he even did it on purpose just to prove he liked being a pain.But being predictable is no fun.. he thought with a bit of a pout but feeling Devon's nervous, shaky, hand against his ear when he let her halter him made him feel a twinge of sadness mixed with guilt. 'I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you like that' he said in his horse language but Devon couldn't understand him. Devon's gasp moments later made Rev prick up his ears in surprise, did she understand me? he wondered before Devon started to jog back towards Running Bear, so he assumed that meant she hadn't understood he decided a he followed beside her, he scared Devon enough for one day and wanted to prove that he could be obedient like other horses. It took them a while to reach the edge of the forest and to even see Running Bear, Devon had slowed to a limping walk, Rev let out a sigh of slight impatience, they could've made it back faster if she relied on him but she didn't think about it even for a moment.

Lucifer made it to the forest's edge a while ago, but her back was painfully spasming more even when she was standing still. Walking was painful but bearable, the uneven ground through the forest would be impossible to make it very far on without her wanting to lay down and just wait for the pain to stop. The pain didn't normally stop when she did though, Devon had a way of helping to ease the pain which brought her back to her wondering anxiously when she and that troublesome colt, Rev, would come back. After waiting for more than an hour at the forest's edge, the mare saw Rev and Devon making their way back to Running Bear. Lucifer let out a whinny of excitement and relief at the sight of Devon who was unharmed, the mare then proceeded to flatten her ears at Rev in annoyance, his crazy antics could've gotten someone hurt. When Devon saw her standing there with one leg held awkwardly in hopes of easing her back pain she came over and wrapped her arms around the mare's neck. "Oh lucy.." the girl sniffled as she pressed her face into the mare's neck. "You're such a sweet girl, your back is hurting again huh? I'll lead you back to your stall and give you some medication for it. I'm sorry.. you were going to have a nice day outside but you're going to have to stay in your stall today too." The mare let out a gentle huff of air and then a nicker, she was fine with going back in her stall if it meant the pain would go away. Devon grabbed her halter and led both the horses into the barn, she first put Rev away, took off the borrowed halter and hung it on Shady's door and then put Lucifer in her stall as well, she also gave the mare a couple pills inside pieces of carrots. Lucifer knew that Devon was trying to be sneaky with hiding the pills but Lucy knew they were there and gladly ate them, hoping they would kick in soon.
